Leg Twist
-
So who else has leg twist? Is it impossible not to get leg twist?
My left ID is about at 10 o'clock and right is about 1 o'clock.
I even measured the front cut of the jeans(inner seams to outside seams) and one side is about 1/4-1/2 less in width below the knees than the other. At this price and skill I wouldn't expect it.

Leg twist is caused by the natural contraction of the raw cotton fibres after soaking or washing, most raw denim gets this. Many people consider this to be a part of the "character" of raw denim, it's certainly nothing to be with craft or skill of the manufacturer, just a natural result of contracting fibres.

Also, and not to be a dick (for once), could I point you in the direction of the random questions thread in the resource centre for issues like this. Thank you

OK. My bad, sorry. I did read about the jeans naturally doing that with washing and drying. Just something I will have to get used to. I like things aligned, Oh well.
Thanks

Not a problem man, and I'm probably the last person who should be saying anything about starting random threads

If you buy raw jeans you will get leg twist. If you don't like it, then do not buy raw. The only way to get rid of it is to sanforise and/or anti skew post weave. Many people dislike any post weave processing and celebrate the natural irregularities and imperfections of what is after all a natural fabric.
