Throwing a quick question out there as I have been looking for a Burgundy boot to add to the collection,…........................how does colour of the Burgundy leather on the Wesco boot compare to Chromexcel 8?
From looking at a few internet pictures of the leathers it looks like the Chromoexcel 8 is more on the brown side of the burgundy spectrum?
Any feedback or comparison photos if available would be appreciated.

I can't detect a big color difference, between the burgundy Wesco leather and the Chromexcel 8 leather of the Viberg Service boots (for example) … the Chromexcel 8 is maybe slightly darker ..... but my eyes are not the youngest.

@Finkster Thanks for the reference photo.
I have just picked up a pair Chromoexcel 8, service boots from Danny at Rivet N Hide.
Footwear choices now consolidated to 4 x pairs:, 1 x Black, 1 x Brown, 1 x Burgundy, 1 x light Grey. Should now be a choice for all occasions. Confident all pairs will get used. My footwear collection was getting out of hand.
Hopefully I can move the two pairs of Vibergs I was not using on to a new owner.

That burgundy is beautiful
Not trying to start a big argument, but how doe Wesco stack up to Red Wings? Curious if there are huge differences.

I like Red Wing and have worn them for work for many years. Red Wing is Triple A, Wesco is the Show.
There's simply no comparison. Fit,leather, build, the best boots I own. Seeing is believing. -
When I go right, I had / have ca. 15 pairs of Red Wings in my life.
Very smart and solid shoes - out of question. But Vibergs or Wesco's are a complete other level in my eyes … not only based on the price.
The material, the craftsmanship, the look, the fit!, ... everything!! -
Not trying to start a big argument, but my view is this. We all spend an inordinate amount of time and money choosing what we think are the perfect clothes for us, we like to look and feel good and quaility-wise stand out from the crowd, then we put on a pair of shoes that just about ever other bugger is wearing. Makes no sense to me…..
