Freenote Cloth

Very killer! That nat cxl will start to develop some cool color variation along the top of the toe box as creases form. Only gets better!

Beautiful jacket @Mizmazzle, I have a couple pairs of jeans from them, really nice stuff!
-
@misfitlife yeah those guys make some quality stuff. This shearling jacket is the warmest thing I’ve ever put on my body. Just a t shirt underneath and I’m warm down to 0 degrees. It’s crazy!

Have any of you picked up Freenote's flannels?
I picked up a few of their 13oz t-shirts and was pretty disappointed to find that the stitching around the shirt pocket was creating a hole in the shirt after maybe like 10 wears. I really like some of their flannel colors but I'm a little shy about jumping in after my experience with their shirts.

First freenote item I bought was one of their henleys. Threads on the buttons were coming undone. I sent it back bummed. But then I got a waxed canvas jacket, short sleeved chambray, dope ass shearling riders. I think they have excellent quality. I’ve held their newer checkered Bensons and they are nice. I really wanted to buy one but it just wasn’t prudent in the moment.

Thanks for the feedback! Will think about it some more.

Just picked up one of their 17oz slub in black and was I'm very impressed! Feels light for a heavier weight and, even though I only have a few hours in them, they are comfortable right off the bat. Nice attention to detail as well: pocket bags/rivets/leather patch). I wear almost only IH so I'm not easily wowed by other brands–but def gotta give freenote some love.

Can’t speak for flannel but chart size on their jeans is accurate ( not tag size though—size 34 in some cuts runs 35.5 true size)

@Paul9221 I have found the measurements to be accurate. On the whole I tend to run in their smaller sizes it seams. I'm a consistent Large in IH shirts, but have Large, medium, and small in Freenote. Their measurements online have been pretty accurate. I did call them and spoke to Will when I was buying my Shearling RJ and that was helpful. Nice dude.

I have several pieces:
Beanie
Deck sweatshirt
Deckpants x 2
2 heavy henley long sleeves
A wells black dot shirt
And their famous waxed canvas riders jacket (I had it before it was on Yellowstone )Overall I find the sizing accurate in their cut and sewn. Both henleys are xl which is my normal tee shirt size. I wear a 2xl in ironheart cut/sewn.
The wells shirt is an xl and fits well, but a little short on the sleeve for me, and in comparison to IH you would feel they were short, however we know IH design runs them longer for reason.
The jacket fits like a typical type 3 with a bit more body space. The sleeves are just long enough imo to allow for work gloves or cuffed riding gloves and a watch.
The Belford is probably one of the best fits I’ve ever found next to my sugar cane 1947s I’ve been wearing.
I bought a pair in 35w which was perfect during Covid and then gyms opened back up. I sent them to railcar fine goods to have them resized fully as a 34 and I sent them the measurements direct from the site to cover. I think they nailed the resize however the pockets are significantly smaller. Problem is, idk if that was a mistake or if it is part of the process. I never reached out to them so it is what it is. It just wasn’t important. I can still put stuff in them, it’s just a tight fit for my phone which now sticks out a bit at the top.The deck pants are my favorite bottoms. I wish - truly-Wish I could find a pair of IH that fit me well. I have a big dump truck from lifting and IH sizing never works but Freenotes deck pants are cut almost similar to the Belford. It’s a regular (some would call it relaxed but it’s regular) top block with a straight thigh and knee. The leg opening is also straight. I have two pairs and will end up buying more as they come back in stock. The 34 sizing is absolutely perfect for me.

X-post
Just got this lambert indigo in today. It’s an awesome shirt. Not too thick and not too thin. I really like the metal buttons, they’re a great touch. I have something else from Freenote coming in tomorrow and I CANNOT WAIT. I’ll post that tomorrow -
ITS HERE
The Locklin! My first leather jacket ever and I’m really happy with how it fits. I was honestly super nervous because of the price but like I said I’m stoked. I know leather jackets are supposed to be a little shorter in the body so I’m cool with it. Guess I’m a tucked in shirt guy now when I’m wearing this. The details are amazing. The quality is impeccable. I love it! -
Detail pics. Italian steerhide. Horn buttons from Italy. Japan made Southwestern interior just like my Freenote riders jacket. Buckles and zippers from Japan. Red wing leather interior patch -
That’s a lovely jacket and a nice fit. How you wear it is up to you, but I rarely tuck in my shirts even with my leather jacket.

Thank you @Anesthetist i actually put on a UHF to get dinner with my wife and it’s not bad untucked!
