IH-666S - The Devil's Fit Indigo - Slim Tapered
-
^ great fit mate! prefer you in this than your beatle buster.
-
Agreed! These look great on u
-
yeah i prefer this fit, doesnt look so sloppy…
agreed. sloppy is the word i was trying to describe but couldn't put my head to it. this makes you look neat/smart or whatever but i just prefer this look more than you in the beatle buster.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.
How about the top block? Essentially I'm interested in knowing which pair has more give post soak. And I find that the size charts provided by Flat Head jeans are almost entirely off–it's ridiculous. (Pre soak measurement for 34s was 15.7 compared to the 35 advertised on, say, SE.)
-
G, would you say these fit bigger than FH 3009 in the same size?
not G here PJ, FH3009 is therotically same cut as IH634, devils fit is slimmer. Have both like nerkg but do not wear the fh that much and they are in the Office for backup so not able to do a direct comparison right now. Overall the devils are superslim where 3009 are straight leg with bit of taper knee down.

Thanks, nerkg; that was more along the lines of what I was looking for. I was directing the question at G initially because I know that he, at times, carries Flat Head stock, so I was hoping I could get an idea of how both styles compare pre-soak. (i.e. if my 34 3009 has a pre-soak measurement of 15.7" in the waist, what does a 666s cut measure pre-soak–in reality, not just based on a universal chart--and is the denim more giving than the 3009 post soak.)

From my experience and reading from other FH owners just be aware that you may get bit more shrinkage out in FH over time than in unsanforised IH when washed with agitation.
For example I wear a 29 superslim in 666s and 30 in 3009. could easy wear a 30 still superslim in 666s and 3009 in 31. Freddy from VMC does it this way, we have almost the same built. But i like it sometimes even a bit slimmer than him.

Thank you very much, Davito. That is a lot of help.
Davito's a great guy - gave me some spot on advice when i was thinking about getting my own pair of 666s. I'm a tts 30 and opted for the same in the Devils. They fit me perfectly - struggled with that top button of course - but there's lots of stretch in them and a great slim fit.

Hi Shoreman you are very welcome, just take care of your thighs, which is most important imho. this is why I could size down to 29 in the devils as they stretched back quite fast in the waist to a 30.
Hi Fergz thx a lot for your positive feedback, appreciate it very much and happy you are happy with your devils.

I'm sorry to ask this as I'm sure it has been asked before. Gave a look but 118 pages is a lot to digest.
Tried a size 36 pair in the 666 today and to my surprise, could get them on. Knowing a soak is necessary, if I hot soak these while wearing them, will that be enough to bed the stitching and whatnot? I worry that a hot soak will shrink them to a point where I couldn't get them on again. The knee and below was good, as was the waist/top block. The thigh was the only area that was quite snug.
Again, my apologies for not finding this info elsewhere…just a bit excited because I've wanted these badly.
