Great look, Mike… Those dogs are judging you though...
they've seen me do much weirder things; so, I'm confident we still good.

@madmonday Yours look perfect mate. Feel much different to your 555-01? The thigh looks a bit smaller going by the charts…

Organic/natural is so tasty. The measurements on these look nice too. I really need lightweight denim that fits with the leg opening of western boots. The measurements look just a little tighter in the thigh and knee than my other jeans. It's about .2'' smaller in the thigh than the old BB's. So denim brethren, is this a forgiving denim in terms of break in?…

Do it. This denim is incredible. TW- 634N was my first pair of IH jeans, and they just keep getting better. You won't be disappointed.

I'm new to Iron Heart but a longstanding denim nut.
My friend has a pair of these, I had a look at the denim fabric and I'm realy impressed. I couldn't help posting this.
Guys, I don't know if you are aware that this is at the moment a unique one. No other brand in the world is producing organic cotton and natural indigo denim fabric. None.
In my humble opinion, good cotton and natural indigo is where grail items tend to be. My past grail was 45rpm Jomon, long ago sadly discontinued. Denim was fabulous but construction was a bit suboptimal. Least to say, construction is excellent in case of Iron Heart. And that's why I'm so enthusiastic. I also love Oni Shoai. The pattern of the natural indigo denim is simply beautiful. But in this case, cotton is, I think, not as good as it should be.
555 denim could become a grail item. The deep natural indigo paired with an excellent construction is unique. I would probably change the detailing a bit, to something closer to IH-555-01 or 02 with no pocket detailing, so that denim gets all the spotlight. Same for the patch, just a big IH stamped logo perhaps.
And while at it, make it even more IH-y. Perhaps a slightly heavier fabric with a bit of extra hairyness. And ensure that if the natural indigo fades a bit, which is not that usual, it leads to an interesting pattern.

@oxbridge , what a great post. You have sold me on this denim. Would love to read your thoughts on other denims.

Yes, a great and considered post. But we won't be changing the arcs or the patch. We are what we are, if others (for e.g. ROY) what to have a simple patch, that is up to them and their aesthetic. The 555-01 and the 555-02, do have arcs, they are just indigo yarn, the reason they are indigo and not yellow is that these jeans were initially a collab and I let the customer drive the details.
We have customers who remove the arcs and the patches with no detriment to the jean….

@madmonday Thanks, I think IH is becoming a very interesting brand. I definitely look forward to see how it stacks up against other fantastic denim like 45rpm, Oni, Samurai or PBJ.
@Giles I didn't mean IH should change anything. Your denim are already fantastic. And I like arcs and complex patches.
I meant within your current IH lineup I've seen some patches (monochrome, e.g. IH-666S-19L) that look nicer. Same for arcs, as I thought 555-01 and 555-02 were arc-less. And I would consider a plain look would work better to highlight a very interesting fabric. Many denim maisons do this. E.g., Oni Shoai doesn't use Oni's trademark curved arcs.
