Back in Norway for work. A nice light and easy drinking Polar Bear beer from Mack brewery Tromso. Blue or White?

@hajduk Currently in a quarantine hotel in Sadnes ( Sandnes ) waiting to go offshore next week to work.
Scorching hot weather today so planning on draining those tins with some Sorland sweet chilli Chips in about the next 30 minutes.
I quite like the Mack beers, easy drinking stuff. I visited the brewery shop in Tromso last year when I was working up there and tried a few of their different beers. They have a great pub "Olhallen" complete with stuffed Isbjornen / polar bear, definitely worth a visit if you are up that way.

When I worked previously in Norway in the Sandnes / Stavanger area I learned not to buy rounds of beer with work colleagues as the local tap beer at the time was Tou. No idea what they put in that drink but it was cruel and deceitful, it did not taste bad but you would get the worst hangover ever while drinking it even only 3 beers into a session. Never again, worst hangover ever without a doubt from drinking draft Tou.
Tou is no longer made in Tou but I believe was sold off to Ringnes brewery where it is made under licence. I wonder if it is still as bad / good for handing out hangovers?

God fredag til alle mine norske venner, skål[emoji482]
Well played sir! Very well played. God helg til deg og skål!
Probably bad form to drink a Swedish beer, but that glass is an original from my town’s traditional brewery. The boat you see on the logo is restored and active, while the mountains can be seen from many places around town.
