@flannel-slut i saw them in photo’s before they were sent and the warmth of them was obvious already, but having them in hand is a whole new paradigm. They are not just warm, beautiful images but the medium and surface used makes them truly wonderful objects. There is a tactile element to this work that makes them far more than skillfully painted images.
One of the people I was really looking forward to meeting irl at the recent IH party was the beardy dank magus himself @Oaktavia.
It was an absolute pleasure to talk to him and Amanda, and on the last day I got to ask him a personal favour. I have recently moved to a new apartment and after the ups and downs of the last few years own very little art of my own. The idea of having something @Oaktavia had painted had been with me for a while, so I was very happy to feel comfortable enough to bring it up.
@oaktavia got in touch a few days after the party and we worked things out in short time. So I am now the proud owner of two original Orrence’s, and that makes me so fucking happy. Updates to come when they are hung.
@ARNC I feel like my rather shabby attendance here these last years has enabled you to blame me for “inspiring” your purchases more than once. It’s a thin excuse mate. But I applaud you for it as long as it works for you.

@mattbags85 shout out for the 777. The 555 goes hard from thigh to knee. 777 is the happy medium between the 888 and 555, and benefits from a slightly more more fitted too block than both.
It’ll try and book a table at the New Bengal. Last time I did this it was tricky as they where hesitant about a large group. I’ll let you all know how it goes.
