My 1st car was a 5 speed red 1989 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce and Ioved it until it shit the bed. Electronics were horrible but I have never drive a car that drive like that car. Including Porsche, BMW, Audi and Mercedes. Alfa are true drivers cars.

In the civilised world (not Texas), Alphas are famed/ notorious for a couple of things….

1. They have the worst dealer network in the world, if you send your car to Alpha to get fixed you can basically say that you are never going to see it again.

2. The electrics are terrible, and always break.

3. Many drivers claim that when they are good, when they are working, and if you get lucky; there is no finer driving experience in the world.

I presume we've all seen the episode of Top Gear where they explored this exact issue in depth?

And yes, in Texas we have a) electricity, b)television, and c) Top Gear reruns.

No Alfa Romeos, though.  People here are crazy, not stupid.

Back to the topic at hand spoke with Kyle at Bakers he spoke with Whites and they are giving me 10% off next pair of Whites. Was really happy considering the stitching never bothered me!

I've been getting so many compliments on these boots that it's starting to get annoying.. Earlier today, I had three complete strangers ask me about them within a ten minute period at the grocery store..
