Wow El, cool - the ones I ordered are a very similar makeup, only I got no liner (I hope I don't regret that). I saw a similar pair posted on SyleForum by Hollows Leather when I first started researching White's and fell in love with them. I love the way these boots look and I can see why you are getting compliments. I am stoked to get/see mine hopefully in a week or so. Thanks for sharing the specs and pics - you wear them well.

And some new British Tan SD's came in as well. Here's the specs and photos.

I want to add a third set to the record that I just took delivery on. This may seem like overkill, but I think it's important to document the options and leather. It's been very helpful to search this thread to see what various leathers look like on White's boots before choosing a config.
Anyway, here's the config and photos:
•Leather: Brown Dress
•Celastic Toe Box: Single
•Steel Toe: No
•Leather Liner: Tan
•Pull Loop: No
•Eyelet Color: Antique
•Sole Trim: Close Trim
•Eyelet Configuration : Eyelet
•Sole: Leather
•Heel Shape: Curve
•Heel Height: Minus 1/4"
•Last: Standard
•Midsole: Standard
•Midsole/Edge Color: Natural -

Nothing overkill about it at all. It's going to be extremely useful for future boot-makers, as well as tracking evolution of specific leathers/models over time. I'm thankful you 'put it all together' so it's easy to reference.

3 brilliant looking boots there mate and I'm totally with snowy…nothing's overkill about it, thanks for sharing the configs and pics with us instead!
btw. I know you also have a few more pairs of white's SD's at home (#8 burgundy cxl i.e.) ...would you mind to share some evo pics of those with us as well?
-
Thanks bros. Due to my boot habit (ahem, I have a problem) the #8 Burgundy's don't have enough wear to make for an interesting pic. When they do, I will surely post.
Also, I have a pair of Semi-Dress in Brown Bison leather coming. That should be interesting – I'll also post those pics when they arrive. In addition (!) I've started to experiment with the White's "Classic Workboot" with another #8 Chromeexcel on order that's going to be VERY interesting. They are basically going to match/emulate these Horseman Joe boots from the Red Wing Euro blog which blew me away:

Will post those shots when they come (8-10 weeks at the moment).

I'm thinking I need to get ahold of Kyle. I put my order in on Feb 2 and haven't heard a thing yet. I'm starting to get impatient since the weather is heating up!

Kyle is a great dude he will gladly answer any if your questions or concerns.

Yes, he was quick to reply my email, too. Told me he's waiting to hear from White's and will let me know what they told.
Since then I'm waiting …
