White's Boots

I'm guessing those are working boots, not walking around town and city boots like 99.9% of us use them for though.
-
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if those were worn by an actual smokejumper for 7 wildfire seasons and have been rebuilt 2-3 times already.

I have a pair of Vibergs on their way to Bakers to get the Dr. Soles put on. They said the price would be $100-120, not too bad.
-
Have plans to do the same thing with my Corcoran x WWII Impressions boonies… Just can't quite justify a $200 resole on em; $100 is a bit easier pill to swallow
-
That is a pretty accurate representation of natural CXL…..
As is this....

Kinda liking those Dr. Soles, wonder if they will ever add as an option for new boots? Guess they'd have to get White's and Wesco to agree, perhaps a tough sell…
Agree with G, that's a pretty true pic of nat. cxl. Mine when new, with a nat. cxl belt from Hollows. Mine look a bit yellow in that light...
This one is better pic
And "used"

Here are the pictures of my new White's. Ordered on 2/7, and received them 3/14.
White's Bounty Hunters
White's Cougars with Giles' favorite Vibram 2021 sole.
Is there a size difference between the two?
I`ve heard cougar is one half up recommended?
Love the BH`s!
