White's Boots

It took 12 months to get the black and red because of screw ups at the factory. They came with black rough out toe caps??? And looked just awefull.
Now i have then all is good.
Along the way i ordered two pair SD one brown horse hide with toecap and one British Tan toecaps. They are beautiful and i will post photos but the SD did not use Bounty hunter last and fit a size large si I am going to have to sell them new with tags.

Whites Bounty Hunter roughout showed up. I'm so hooked on the way their 10E fits, I don't know if I'll ever buy anything else.
Beauties! What size do you wear in other boots?

My three favorite fits are:
Alden Trubalance 10 E - Almost as good as the White's 10E. No complaints.
Alden Trubalance 9.5 EEE - Pretty good but a bit snug. Thin socks only.
Wolverine 1K Miles 10 EEE - Started fine, ended up being too big because the leather was so stretchy.
ASICS 11 EEEE - Great fit. I can never find sneakers or athletic shoes that fit. This is the only thing that has ever worked for me.Never had Vibergs or Wesco to compare to, but I'm sure they would have a last that fits as well.

One is just your standard, Semi Dress with a single leather outsole in black Chrome Excel. The other is a pair of 6" brown dress Bounty Hunters with medallion toe caps. I have a pair of 7" lace to toe Bounty Hunters in black Chrome Excel on order right now. I can't wait until they are finished up! I have been wearing my two pair continuously for the last 6 months. I had never had a good pair of shoes until these and I have absolutely NO regrets! I take really good care of them, using cedar trees and brush them after every wear. It appears they should both outlive me at this point. I haven't really treated them with anything at all yet, other than some Obenauf's on the sides of the outsoles when they were new and on the toe caps of the Bounty Hunters once 3 or 4 months ago. I work indoors, so the soles are doing real well on both. Also, I LOVE the standard, Cuban heel. I know it seems to polarize folks and I wasn't sure how I would feel about it until I had them on, but I am converted for sure.

Thanks!
Yeah, I LOVE both the CXL and the dress leather. It was pretty tough deciding what to go with on my new pair. In the end CXL won out, but I honestly don't think I would have been let down either way.

Thinking about speccing a pair of Bounty Hunters or Wesco Packers… too. many. options!!!

Just read this article on White's boots and found it informative. Touches on the different build qualities, the expansion into Japan, the shrinking markets in the US. Written from a retailer perspective. Unfortunately it doesn't show the date it was written; most likely before last year's acquisition.

Just inquiring about the sizing of White's boots. I have the Viberg IHVB-04 (the 310 last) in 6.5 US, they fit me pretty well even with socks and insoles (if a bit snug). However AFAIK Viberg's size pretty large, I wear a size 7 in Wolverine 1000 mile (I think I can fit into a 6.5 1K as well, but then I wouldn't be able to use wool sucks and insoles). I wanna get a pair of White's semi-dress soon but I'm kinda unsure about sizing, would I be OK with a size 7 US?
I go brannock device -.5 and one width larger. Leaves plenty of room for thicker socks but not swimming in the boots either.
