The Real McCoys

I was going to cop one but i dunno if my OCD can handle that!
-
according to the site this is why
Many U.S. Navy sailors would personalize their uniforms with their names and ID numbers. The name and number were stenciled upside down to be read right side up, when held in the sailor's hand.
-
yeah, but we as civilians don't need that sh!t & even when in the military & issued my goods I wouldn't stencil my name on anything unless we had an inspection or something coming up . . . actually most of the folks I know wouldn't put their names on anything.
Either way it's a nice little hat.

Yeah can't say i have had my name on anything since school

The RMC watch cap is insanely scratchy, just a warning if you've not handled it before…

Dam too late now

I think this is on individual base re itchiness as all react differently to different kind of wool. I have the navy colored wool watch cap from some years back and its ok for me. just from touching this years release (i believe :)) they seem feeling a bit "softer" imho especially the mod version with the added pom.
I love the classic version of the watch cap, rough for keeping your head warm. @spitfiredealer
If it should be itchy it usually comforts to your head after some wear afaik or maybe give a quick soak

I would just like to say that the Joe McCoy Ballpark sweatshirt is absolutely amazing.
That is all.

Looking into getting a new pair of jeans, either some from Studio D'artisan or The Real McCoy's. Any pros or cons I should consider? Looking at the 991XH.

Man that looks good and it fits perfect. Does it feel warm or more of a spring piece?

Thanks. Fit is spot on and quality is top notch (no surprise there). The cotton outer is dense (same as the Buco Vest I think) and the cotton lining is a very tight weave. Not a winter jacket by any stretch but I think it will be ok in the Fall and early Spring. Especially in my southern climate.

Thanks mm. I agree on the blue 79. I had my 48 on when I put the jacket on for the first time. It will look great with plain white t-shirt as well.
Needless to say I am extremely happy and feel lucky I was able to pick it up.

Did anyone compare the RMC Pea Coat versus the IHW05? the RMC should have 37 oz but no lining and I'd like to know which one is a) warmer and b) wether the fits are much different. From the measurements I think I'd be a 46 in the RMC - sounds strange to me.
Thanks!
