Good looking shirt. This is the older version, no? Have you seen the new version in SE, the "dots" are diamonds and dots. Tasty ;)!

Anyone here own a pair of the Flat Head Deer Skin Boots? I'm looking at a pair in size 45, I wear an 11.5, and I wrote Daniel at DC4 about them, and He states that they run a 1/2 size larger making these an 11.5… I REALLY dont want to go through the hassle of returning said boots (from Afghanistan) if they are too small for me.. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Giles has a pair. He can probably give you some sizing info and comparisons, since he owns every brand of boot ever made…

Thanks, I'll let him know…

Thanks! I think I may just jump on these!

I have no idea. The size on them is in Japanese and is a CM length. I was lucky, they had one pair on display when I was at a Flat Head show, I tried them on and they fitted.
A word of warning. The deerskin is stretchy and the brass lacing eyes stretch out over time and I have even had a couple pull out. I have talked to Flat Head about this, photo's have been sent to the factory. Improvements will be made.
If you're going to give these shit, get the horsehide version.

can anyone help me with the sizing on flathead shirts? I wear a Large in practically IH everything, but for comparison's sake I wear a L in IHSH-70, have been looking to possibly pickup the TFH winter redcheck or mustard check flannel? Generally my shirts have a 18.5 shoulder, 30ish length, and at least a 26' sleeve (i'm 6'6" so there is no compromising sleeve length) and my actual chest measurements is 40"…. It seems that TFH have shoulders nearly 2 inches larger than most any other shirt I own how ever other measurements seem on point. Chest is in a few inches from the normall 44" and wondering if the rounded shoulder allows the tighter chest fit? any help would be appreciated!!!!

Apba1166- thanks! I appreciate the info sounds like that may be the way to go, I don't think the waist would be an issue as I'm pretty thin and have a 30" waist but ill keep that in mind.
G- thanks I tried to go back and edit and couldn't figure it out. Knowing is half the battle.
