They'll be in my hands in a week as long as customs don't fuck me. Which they are totally going to do.
Amazingly customs have not fucked me! The boots will be in my home town a day before I am and I'm only paying $20 more in excess taxes. I don't know what you guys wrote on the shipping pro forma at IHUK, but thank you.

This would be so much better if they actually sent you a pair of Crocs…
-
I think we said that they were a pair of Crocs for poor delusional English wanker…
Works for me.
EDIT: and by the way, ouch [emoji15]
@neph93 asked me to clarify the wanker bit, he asked me to use his words "a sheep shagging Welsh tosser"
All clear now?
It's all in the details. If that "English" jibe had been allowed to stand my feelings could have been irreparably hurt. [emoji25]

Ever tried to unpack a pair of Wesco's your dying to get your hands on, quietly while everyone is sleeping? Tough job, but I did it. Now to quietly introduce them to everyday life without anyone noticing. Dark Arts.
Review and fit pics to follow, but here's a serious fit question: Is a bit of pinch in the width and in-step on a brand new pair normal? Otherwise there is no heel slip and I can wiggle my toes.
-
Yep, mine were a touch snug, not enough to hurt mind you, but with a couple days of wear have loosened up perfectly. The upper and double mids are still quite stiff yet, but the fit is spot on
Definitely… My Vibergs were snug width-wise at first, but fit like sneakers after a month or so...
Personally I would welcome that at the outset, like buying a pair of jeans a little snug…..
Thank you gentlemen. They do not hurt, just pinch, so I think I'm good.

Hate it when people buy amazing boots and then they're being swallowed by a gigantic hem and too long an inseam.
Yup. Although I'm generally guilty of having too long an inseam. Both my 666's are off to the seamstress tomorrow to get them Wesco-ready.
Also, thanks for the kind words [emoji4]

wesco owners…. i need advice. If i'm a 9.5 D in white's can i wear a 9E in Wesco?
-
Perfect. Thanks Giles!

@riffblaster general Size for size, White's should be larger than Wesco, so a 9E Wesco is likely too short. I wear 9.5D in Wesco, 8.5 in White's Swing Last, 9 in Vibergs.
-
And to further muddy the waters, I'm a size 10D in all three brands (White's Swing and SD last, Wesco Jobmaster, Viberg 2030).
I'd agree that length might be a problem if you go down a half size, but there's no way to be sure without trying.

10.5 in Wesco, 10 in White's and Viberg…....sorry
