NICE Matt! Love that one, esp as a pinkie ring.

@Matt I find their rings fit large for their size. Not that they are sized incorrectly but by design they fit looser if that makes sense.

Friday got me feelin’….

I actually sized it at a jewelry store. Not sure why I’m struggling.
Am sure we had conversations while back
You was told the GAH runs bigger
Even the clothing
Come on it’s not rocket science

No Mo, you told me to buy a size up last time. Plonked.
Did I can’t rememberJust remember one thing hands get cold
Rings become biggerHands are warm they get tighter
I think you need to buy a ring sizer
In the end you will get it right

I definitely "sized up" from what the ring sizer said would be the right fit because of how much wider the Frida GA is than the sizing ring. It was a tricky balance comparing my wedding band and sizer set to see what fit similar. Then I used that comparison to find the same relative fit on the other finger using the sizing rings. It was still a half size too small to fit comfortably on the finger I intended with how much it swells throughout the day, but I quickly realized I didnt want to wear the ring on that rh index finger anyway. It was perfect fit on the next finger over so I got lucky.
What I overlooked, and why I'm posting this to help others, is that while my wedding band is somewhat wide, it also has a "comfort fit" profile on its inner diameter, so it's got a little bit of a curve to it and isnt a straight cylinder like the GA ring is. So to that end, I should have gone up another half size based on that relative fit test I did in the beginning of this long winded post. In the end, that resulted in about a half size up for each the comfort fit and for the wider ring. ymmv of course.
Real moral of the story, buy a ring sizer set or go to a jeweler and try on rings in similar width AND inner diameter profile (straight fit and not comfort fit) to the ring you want. I highly suggest avoiding the little plastic tape measure zip tie looking things. I also tried buying cheap amazon rings in wider widths to help with sizing but found quickly that most of them were wildly variable in sizing and also not anywhere close to being round. Also avoid.
