IH-777-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Tapered Jeans - Indigo

The weather is finally nice enough to start wearing these. Fit check!

@Zee-Boo too baggy

@Zee-Boo
Have you soaked them? They mostly lose length but definitely lose a bit everywhere else.
I personally like to size up in 777s. You won’t get the give you can get in lower weight denim, as far as stretch in the waist and thighs with 25oz, or at least that’s my experience. I’ve given up on a couple pairs of 25oz 777ib because they never really stretch. I like how they look right now. But in the end it’s all about having a pair that you want to wear over and over again, forever. So… that’s my two cents at least. -

Damn it's been a minute since I've been on here. Had to rebuy one of my favorite pairs of jeans as they were literally starting to fall apart after three years of on and off use. Don't really see myself getting any other kind of jeans for the mean time, these are a perfect fit for me and material quality is unmatched.
-
Aha thanks guys! Yeah I have kept all my pairs, kind of sentimental. I'll take a pic of all of them together one day. Some fit pics. Went up a size to factor my concealed carry... Way more comfortable now. Can't really do tight jeans anymore, I think I'm getting old, aha.

I’ve got these in the 666 cut. The good and the bad for me is that I’ve lost 25lbs in the last few months and need a new pair of jeans. Great I lost the weight (as a 47 year old I need to try as best I can to keep up to my almost 2 year old). I think my 666’s stretched about half an inch. Im assuming these will do the same. I don’t soak my jeans until they need a wash. I’m assuming these will be a little harder to break in because they are a little slimmer than the 666’s?
-
@deanclean They should be the same to break in as your 666-XHS. The denim doesn’t change between the different cuts as the break-in depends on how the jeans fit you and your body type.
-
Thanks @goosehd ill take that into consideration. I thought just because they were a little slimmer they would be tougher to break in. I like a challenge!
-
@deanclean You may have more areas that need to be broken in depending on how much weight you’ve lost and the size you ordered.
I’ve got a few pairs of jeans that need to be broken in repeatedly depending on the time of year and how many beers have been consumed…
-
Haha @goosehd so true. I should be keeping a few pairs of various sizes around!
-
Is there much shrinkage with a cold wash and no spin? I have a pair the fits great in the waist, thigh, and knee, but wouldn't want very much more shrinkage.
