IH-526L - 19oz Left-Hand Twill Selvedge Denim Type III - Indigo
-
Medium landed and repeated the same terrible fit shots.
Ostensibly, this is the right size now, but will it be too small if/when it shrinks? I can button it over a tee and hoodie, semi comfortable through the chest and pretty snug in the torso and hips. Length of the sleeves seems about right to me now for when creases set.Any last parting thoughts before I request a return shipping label on one?

@pechelman I own the 526 in the 21oz black, indigo, the 22oz od, and in corduroy.
Most of them I have owned for 3-7 years and may have only washed them once or twice. When I do wash them, they are washed in cold water, removed before the spin cycle, and hung to dry. They have not shrank because I have taken efforts to avoid it.
I would rather buy a jacket that fits, wear it, and not worry about if I can get it to shrink to fit.
Just my $.02.

Appreciate the wisdom @goosehd. I guess that's why I've been soliciting shrink numbers from folks. Seeing such crazy amounts on some jackets has made me slightly concerned that even if I try to avoid shrinkage I'll still get a good amount. Maybe that's not right with the 19L fabric?
Also, this thing makes a broken in 14oz type 3 feel like a t-shirt.

Haha right!? I've been wearing a broken in 15oz type 1 by studio d'artisan and it feels like nothing compared to this thing.

@pechelman
Looks way better than the first one
If you cold wash ( 30 degrees) you won’t get much shrink, if at all. -
@pechelman I think the Medium looks good too dude. Like the other guys said in here, if you don't want to shrink it, keep the water cold. The M isn't nearly as small as I expected in your fit pics.

Well, I’m having to take a chance and roll the dice with a hot soak. The xl does in fact look more fitted, but with an uhf under it I can barely move. Gotta ride with the hot soak but apparently my tap doesn’t get as hot as @Oaktavia s does
-
@iammortalcombat it's pretty nice to be able to wear an UHF under it.
-
@Daniel-San bro!!! You’re stoked!! What’s your take comparing/ contrasting the two? Is one winning ya over more than the other?
-
Gave this a 1 hour soak in Luke warm water, now wearing it around the house damp. A little billowing at the bottom because I’ve been lounging with it unbuttoned, but once it’s dried up a little more I’ll button it up.
Really happy with the XL fit! I was worried the arms would feel too big but the soak seems to have helped.

@Mizmazzle
love em both . Unbelievable what the over dying does to the denim , the OD lefty is very soft and feels completely different. Specially like those blue shades on od stuff , just looks fantastic
the normal one is a brutal beast , definitely the sickest denim jacket ever -
soak and initial wash with 30 degrees done
the moment it was completely wet I realized that I forgot to take measurements, sorry gentlemen
worn wet to set creases
tried on this morning when still a little wet , it did shrink ! Fit with Tshirt is perfect, if it’s still ok with hoodie I will check tomorrow.
first time the patch didn’t come out darker , seem to be a bit thicker .. -
Lefty patches have been known to be easily aroused with water and agitation
