@pechelman
Looks way better than the first one
If you cold wash ( 30 degrees) you won’t get much shrink, if at all. -
@pechelman I think the Medium looks good too dude. Like the other guys said in here, if you don't want to shrink it, keep the water cold. The M isn't nearly as small as I expected in your fit pics.

Well, I’m having to take a chance and roll the dice with a hot soak. The xl does in fact look more fitted, but with an uhf under it I can barely move. Gotta ride with the hot soak but apparently my tap doesn’t get as hot as @Oaktavia s does
-
@iammortalcombat it's pretty nice to be able to wear an UHF under it.
-
@Daniel-San bro!!! You’re stoked!! What’s your take comparing/ contrasting the two? Is one winning ya over more than the other?
-
Gave this a 1 hour soak in Luke warm water, now wearing it around the house damp. A little billowing at the bottom because I’ve been lounging with it unbuttoned, but once it’s dried up a little more I’ll button it up.
Really happy with the XL fit! I was worried the arms would feel too big but the soak seems to have helped.

@Mizmazzle
love em both . Unbelievable what the over dying does to the denim , the OD lefty is very soft and feels completely different. Specially like those blue shades on od stuff , just looks fantastic
the normal one is a brutal beast , definitely the sickest denim jacket ever -
soak and initial wash with 30 degrees done
the moment it was completely wet I realized that I forgot to take measurements, sorry gentlemen
worn wet to set creases
tried on this morning when still a little wet , it did shrink ! Fit with Tshirt is perfect, if it’s still ok with hoodie I will check tomorrow.
first time the patch didn’t come out darker , seem to be a bit thicker .. -
Lefty patches have been known to be easily aroused with water and agitation
-
Got pulled away from home for a couple of days and finally had a chance to soak the medium. Did a very luke warm kinda soak, just barely where a shower would be comfortable at the low end. Wet observations are that the width didn't move too much but the sleeves maybe came up half an inch. Will post after measurements hopefully tomorrow. I did put it on for a bit while still wet to set the creases and hung it with each sleeve bent that way by fastening the sleeve button/hole to the placket on each side. We'll see if that helps but figured it wouldn't hurt.

Results are in, similar to my first impressions;
P2P: 22.2 - 21.9
WST: 20.1 - 19.7
OPN: 20.2 - 19.7
SHD: 18.9 - 18.5
LTH: 26.7 - 26.0
SLV: 27.0 - 26.1It's hard to measure this fabric, but I tried my best.
One picture from the drip dry setup noted above and two more terrible fit series. You can definitely see the length come up in relation to the rear pockets. It's a little snug through the middle but should work for a hoodie. This was with a very mild temp soak and basically no agitation. I'd suspect the large in a stupid hot soak with agitation might have worked overall but I'm not sure if it would ever have looked as good over just a tee.

@pechelman Thank you for the data and the pictures! I still think the medium is the right fit and when the denim settles will look fantastic on you.
Now all you have left to do is just beat and wear it into submission
-
Thanks, @goosehd. I agree and thanks as always for your insight. There are a couple of snug spots that remind me of how the 293 fit where I was concerned but it's settled and broken in nicely to where it looks great. This feels like it will be similar, just maybe more stubborn.
In another note, I'd like to ask this as respectfully as possible, but is this really one washed? There wasn't any puckering around the stitching before that I now see after a really gentle barely warm soak with zero agitation that resulted in nearly an inch of loss on the lengths. The "no shrinkage" expected on the sizing chart is maybe a little inaccurate in my one sample. Again, not intending to be critical, but honestly asking and bringing up to help others get the right size or know what to expect.
