@Memphisakers Yeah, I agree. Thanks! It's easy to put a nice ensemble together when all of the components are well made and fit well.

@Oaktavia I'm not sure if I would call this town quiet, especially during the summer, but we live about a block from the bay (seen here) and about 5 blocks from the ocean. The ocean beach is utter madness in the summer, and the bay beach is super chill. San Diego, believe it or not, has a tourist season, and it's summer. After Labor Day, the tourists leave, and it's a much more peaceful place to be. Just a few more weeks!

@Oaktavia I lived for a few years at my partner's house overlooking the sea (in short, crossing a two-lane road I already had my feet in the water, and at least in Italy, there is very little quiet . From May to September it is a frenzy of tourists, umbrellas and quarrels for car parking, from October until the end of April everything empties, but those who stay alive to reorganize everything for the following bathing season . Now I live where I was born, 18 km from the sea and it's much better even if the idea of a house near the ocean (or a northern sea unsuitable for "beach life") fascinates me too. Good evening everyone, sorry if I intruded, bye my friend

@Daniel-San nice one how you getting on with yours ?

Since I got mine, I realise what a great jacket this is. However, I have one question. I seem to get arm twist rather like leg twist with 19L jeans. Is this normal? I assume so as it is natural for left twills…

Soldiering through the warm weather, incredible transformation man
What a great jacket this is. I had been wearing mine for a few days and then put on a 13oz jacket from a different brand, felt like a handkerchief compared to the 526L.

@pechelman - thanks. I had missed that! It has become such a long thread, it is perhaps not surprising that things slip through the cracks.

Finally get to wear this beast a bit in the home-office today. Checked the measurements for my XXL after a warm soak. A bit of shrink overall, but shoulders still a bit large when wearing with T-shirt only, but good to go for layering.
Shoulders: 21 -21
Length: 28,8 -28,0
P2P: 24,5 - 24,0
Waist: 21,8-21,5
Opening: 22,0 - 21,75
Sleeve: 28,0 - 27,0
Sleeve opening: 5,0 - 4,9UPDATE: I noticed in the mirror that only one side of the shoulder seemed a bit large. Checked and found 1cm difference in the length of the shoulder seams. Now give it a 40C wash (no spin etc) in addition to my initial warm soak to make sure this is not caused by uneven exposure to warm water in the first soak

I recently put on my 292-IND again after a long time, which I thought was really heavy when I bought it. After I was on the road lately primarily with my Lefty, the 292 feels as if it were made of silk. Still a great shirt and quite rugged! What I learned though: Even the definition of heavy denim seems relative

For sure man. Even the 19oz IHSH-396 feels lighter than the Lefty.
