The 888 Fatboy Chocolate World Tour

Well, as some of you know, there is a Hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico and set to pretty much hit us directly. Since a good chunk of my time is spent working for a vacation rental company, it's been a busy two days, to say the least. We had a nearly full
Weekend of guests coming to stay in our 700+ beach homes and condominiums, and Nate is scaring a good number of people away, which it should. My family should be fine since we are nearly 45 minutes from the Gulf, so it will slow down a lot once it makes landfall. Looks like New Orleans is going to get hit pretty hard, so my thoughts and prayers are with those in NOLA tonight and tomorrow.
Anyways, since I've been running around like crazy, I haven't been able to get a lot of good pics, but here is a fun collection of stuff taken over the last two days:
Clients new Truck - 7.3L Diesel with Garrett Turbo.
Another clients truck - Diesel Cayenne (we don't see these often)
For Seul
Dinner last night with my wife
I'll keep you guys posted on any craziness that happens with the storm!

Stay safe mate, all the best to your family and friends, and thanks for another stellar update.
-
Thanks guys - it shouldn't be too bad for us, but it will probably cause some damage along the beaches.
I need to go make sure I buy a couple more cases of beer and a new bottle of whiskey for the possible lock down… you know... #preparedness

I hate hurricanes with a passion. I hope to never go through another. Stay safe.

Even you, so write me into your will to take possession of it

Well, Hurricane Nate didn't do much to us other than send some rain and wind our way, but we were prepared anyways.
I had my morning classes covered yesterday so I could get a day ahead of my workload, so went to the coffee shop around the corner:
They also serve beer… sorry, only grabbed a pic after I was done [emoji12]
We did out up our hurricane shutters anyways, especially after the forecast was a Cat 2:
Then we woke up and we had less damage than after a small rain storm, so off with the shutters we went:
I went and checked on the gym, thinking there might be some serious water inside since we have roll up doors that leak pretty badly but nothing.
Bonus pic of the tour jeans
Off to the grocery now to get stuff to make Ramen… never made it myself, so I'll document and keep you guys posted [emoji41]
Cheers,
Adam

Thanks for the warm wishes guys - we were lucky that no damage came our way.
Yesterday was very long. Opened the gym at 5am, closed it down at 8pm and worked doing reports the remainder of the day, but managed to snap a few pics [emoji41]
Tried my hand making homemade ramen Sunday night. Wrong noodles but it worked
Grilled some "Conecuah" Sausage - its from a few hours north of us. Kinda like a southern kielbasa
Yesterday at work
Saw this stanced Mazda MX-5
More ramen for lunch yesterday
Cheers everyone

Eating well, living well. Love it Adam, and the twins are seriously cute

He was working over a hot grill. It's important to drink a lot of water and not get dehydrated.

Eating well, living well.
But drinking Heineken…
Hahaha left over "light beer" from a football party. There are plenty of Lagunitas IPAs stocking the fridge to make up for it.
Funny story - my grandfather was allergic to domestic hops - every time he would drink a Budweiser or Miller product his face would get really red and his arms would break out in some crazy rash. Turns out one of the only beers he could drink because of the weak hop content was Heineken -
Due to the nostalgia of the beer, it's usually my light beer / bar beer of choice

Ok, so yesterday was supposed to be fun. Woke up early and hit the coffee shop when they opened to get a leg up on my work because I had finally found the truck I had been looking for, and "thought" we had worked out a deal I was more than happy with.
What actually happened, well… just read below:
12:57 (PM): made sure my car was looking good for trade in time and started my drive to Baton Rogue (3.5 hour drive from me mind you)
The weather was great, and everything seemed to be going my way:
I called the sales guy and told him I would be there around 16:30 (4:30pm) and he informed me that he would not be there due to his kid's school function but they would pair me with someone who knew everything about the deal.
I arrive at 16:42 (4:42pm) and apologize for my mere tardiness after driving nearly 220 miles.
They stick me in the waiting room… which was quite nice mind you, but still...
At 17:25 (5:25pm), nearly 45 minutes after I had arrived, a sales associate comes To get me. He informed me that everything was ready and we just needed to go over my trade.
They then offered $700USD less than had promised over the phone for my trade and I couldn't even drive the truck because it was still in detail… even though o set up this appointment on Saturday...
After driving it, I asked them to work on the Leicester due to the low offer on my trade. All I wanted was to cover the $700 gap another dealer offered me. They dropped the truck $420 USD and said that's their final offer....
Needless to say, my @$$ walked the hell out of their as they were closing. Probably the only time someone has left the Lexus dealership over a $200 spread, but hey #principals
Luckily, I knew the halfway point in my drive had a Whataburger, so I powered through and stopped in Biloxi for the worlds best burger (my opinion lol)
Chop House Cheddar Burger
BONUS: When we were testing out the truck, we pulled behind a Civic Type R. I quickly grabbed my phone and snapped a pic (we were at a red light, not moving):
The sales guy I was with (who undoubtably was a total bafoon), said "That's neat, what are those"
Still shaking my head to that one…
Anyways, hoping today goes more as planned
Cheers,
Adam

That's very shitty of the dude.
On the subject of Honda Civic Type R, one has started parking in our "designated parking space" over night and we suspect the owner does not even live on our street. I'm on an all day drinking session on Saturday and unlikely to return until the early hours, so I have promised my wife if it is parked in her spot that I will urinate on it

^you should steal it and do donuts in it instead!!!

Yesterday was a pretty standard day for me. Kiddos off to Nanny, went and worked for a while, and opened up the gym for the afternoon.10/11/2017:
Started off my work day with some coffee. I love the counter culture blends
And some breakfast (I'm a creature of ha it if you can't already tell lol
Few hours later I picked up the kids and we got smoothies and went to the gym for a few hours
And yes, Grayson has a black eye from where Avery head butted him and Avery has a skinned up chin where she decided to trip and fall on the wood floors lol thankfully school photos are not until next week [emoji52]
Grayson's new favorite thing is to knock on doors. All. The. Doors.
Mom was away playing volleyball, so we had pizza night:
Grayson is a BIG fan of pizza lol
After the kids went to bed, I got a little work done and warmed up some of my homemade Ramen I made for the week.
Paired it with this beer:

Woke up early and knocked out some email design forms, and then took the kids to school
Grabbed coffee (the barista complimented the 179):
Made brunch:
Hopefully I'll grab some more update this evening!
