now i can start my day knowing that these will hopefully be on the way in the not too distant future.

2 months not too bad of a wait considering all going on at Iron Heart central. Plus, it is so easy for an outsider like myself to forget that they did very recently go through an immeasurable natural disaster.
so for once i am patient, sort of kind of ::)

Hey guys… can someone comment on how the fabric/fit compares to the Levi's/Filson Type III? Is this breathable and lighter weight? I have the filson and since its heavily oiled, there is absolutely no breathing through the fabric. I wore it on my trip to Japan, its a great jacket but I always end up sweating inside 8).. Haven't worn it since...

this item is not yet available to the general public. i guess it's hard to tell with all the pages of interest related to it.
maybe G can answer your question since he was globetrotting in it a few months back?

I dont know ho it fits to the Levi's/Filson version. It will be approx (if not exactly) the same size as this:
http://www.ironheart.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=48
And it is pretty breathable, certainly more so that anything waxed.

Far too many good things in the pipeline, bankruptcy is imminent lol …

do this one. follow my twisted reasoning
no idea how well this will do & so you better grab it while it is around. the 526J has been around for a little while & i don't think it will change for the forseeable future. oh & i think they are also going to do a type III in the 666/beattle buster raw denim as well, which is probaly going to be limited.
so, if you are intent on getting an indigo jacket you might want to try that one . . . . .
