Guthrie tan work jeans and Townes western V2 came in today - great stuff from Mike!
Will post one or two pics in due course. The Guthries have the guts to become my favorite pantsThose looked great! If my thighs could've fit in them without the waist looking like a pair of clown pants, I definitely would have picked up a pair.

Thanks all!
Yes, the fabric of the Guthries is fantastic. I expect a nice creasing and stacking.
I went for size 34 in the pants. It‘s a 36 waist. Initial one hour cold soak led to about 1/3 inch shrinkage but easily stretched back to 36. Ellen was so nice to give me the „real“ measurements - very nice service there.
I had the unhemmed but 36.5 was too long since I don‘t want to fold it. Now it‘s 34.5 inseam.
The shirt is an XL. Still has some room to wear it over another shirt as a light jacket. It‘s not as thightly cut as IH shirts but I like it this way.
With IH I am size 44 in jackets & shirts and 36 in pants. -
I love those @jay-cy
I have a pair in my basket on the Ship John website, but VAT, duty and carriage is brutal and I’ve stalled. -
Some sizes are available it seems.
£150 for the jeans, £115 to get them to me.
Hmmph.

Sorted.
Having them delivered to a friend of my better half who lives in LA and is travelling to England on Saturday.Bosh.

@jay-cy my Guthries have arrived and I love them. A little bit of shrinkage and they’ll be perfect. I see you’ve cold soaked yours, but have you washed them yet? Just wondering what to expect before I try anything.

I just gave them a 2 hour cold soak and then line dried. Nut much shrinkage.
According to Ellen there‘s not much shrinkage to expect with this fabric. I assume maybe about half an inch after a 40 degree wash. It stretches a bit with 3 weeks of wear now but not much. Again about half an inch at max… -
Thank you.
I’ll report back if I discover anything wildly different.
