Okay, so, I have the L sax UHF that just came out last week over a T and under the M Wills. It actually fits perfectly.
I think a M Wills will do you good!
Edit: for reference, I'm 155lbs, 5'10", about a 38.5" chest.
Thanks bro!! This is why I love this IH family!! Best group of peeps ever!!

I found the sizing chart they use pretty accurate. the measurements listed had me in an XXL and it fit pretty well.
Its a cool jacket and well made and all that, but in the end I didnt keep it.

I'll find out when I get mine in Summer 2023 lol

@Mizmazzle I sent you a quick note.

@Paul9221 thanks brother. I appreciate you taking the time to do that. Seems I’m a bit chunkier than you, but our chest measurements are about the same as is height. Maybe I have fat legs or something haha
Ha, I'm on the tail end of cutting, so I'm pretty lean at the moment. I started at about 175.

The size chart is pretty accurate and works for sizing. I picked up an XXL and it allows me to layer and be comfortable. The jacket feels like armor and is very stiff, I can imagine that it would be unbearable to wear if too small (for me). It'll take a long while to break this in.
I word it to an event last weekend and all my friends were impressed and wanted to try it on.

Are you able to zip it up with that sweater?
Hrmm, I can't recall. At 155lbs now, I am able to zip up the medium Wills over a T-shirt and a large UHF without problems.
-
@Paul9221 I actually just weighed myself. I’m at 169lbs right now. We really should become roommates and share a wardrobe!! Haha. Then I can wear “our” wills jacket now!!!
Ha! I'm feeling some Lemongrab vibes right now

After owning XL and XXL Wills jackets I settled on the larger size. The fabric is too thick and heavy to size down in my opinion. Also mind the sleeve length, as the fabric creases at the elbow the length will decrease so consider the long option if you’re lanky.
That being said I have held onto my XL Long OG Cone Mills denim Wills jacket even though it’s just in a bag in my closet. I’m not usually sentimental with clothes but that was my first Ship John purchase back in 2017.

Good info @Palmer between the long ass wait and the inability to exchange of the sizing is off…it’s a bit of a high pressure situation. Haha.
I’m curious…anyone have any experience/ thoughts on how the newer lines version compares to the V1? Haven’t read much input on that factor.
