Glad I sized one down from my shirt size, this thing is built like a tank!  I think I'll give it a proper soak later like I did my xhs 777 before wearing and go from there, the long and arduous "softening"

perfect fit @Joberwocky, I miss my vest badly and will replace it in size large some day. IIRC, the hand pockets are sewn on the bottom inside so they can be used at interior pockets. Now I'm second guessing that…

When I was first looking at the vest I thought it had interior pockets before I realized it was the backside of the pocket bags, so I believe you're correct @jordanscollected

Well, now it's sufficiently "crispy" but I'm still loving the fit and have the room to get some layering under it if necessary.

If you ever want to wear it on the bike,and you don't want to snap it,vest extenders would work.

Thanks for the tip @Jett129 , I had to look them up.  I'm typically an armored leather jacket all the time guy, but for a quick run out 25oz denim almost feels armor enough

Also, now that I shaved the beard, I'm arguably not tough enough looking to be riding in a vest haha

You put the vest over the jacket using the extenders. That would be pretty Badass!
