@tvenuto in fact its just a lack of space. I might do some very small fillers but as hands and neck are not possible for me - I'm done now.

But that are the spots where the fun really starts!

Not technically a tattoo post by I just received my new T-shirt by Jim macAirt https://jimmacairt.com/
Jim was paramount in introducing Tibetan Buddhism imagery to tattooing in the UK in the 80s and 90s and was Thomas Hooper's teacher. I have been getting tattooed by Thomas since 2003 and thought it was only appropriate to get tattooed by Jim before he retired on his 60th birthday a few years ago. The tattoo I have by Jim was done in his garden shed in his home in Brighton and was an absolutely amazing experience.

Thx guys.
@Chap : Maybe start with a leg sleeve. Or you could do half upper front body and upper arm area. You can still finish the sleeve when you are done working
@chbronsonx : What did you get?

Nice… thought about an Irezumi Style Tattoo a while ago... in my job tattoos are not accepted in visible areas and on the back I have too many small naevus which need to be inspected regularly
I collect books on irezumi. If there is anything particular you fancy let me know and will happily flick through them and send some images.

I got a skull with a snake on the arm, next to a skull/wife from Chriss Dettmer. Man is it complicated to photograph..sorry for the bad pics.
Other arm from Joel Madberg. Photo from the internet, didn't even try to photograph that by myself…
Got a lot more pieces on the legs, chest and belly. -

Most of the ones I have are out of print. A good one to start with that should be able to get is Tattoos of the floating world by Takahiro Kitamura, who did my tattoo.

Damn. These are some nice tatts and that's a killer sleeve. How long did it take to get it done?
I started getting tattooed with 17. Got one, which I am not that happy with anynore.
And got into tattoos again with 31. Now, two years later I have 11.
But I am planning on only getting 3 new ones max per year.Seeing this I am already done for 2020 but already have plans and looking forward to 2021.

The sleeve took 11-12 hours. 1 session was 7 hours in Stockholm, 2. session 3,5 hours in Stockholm and one time I met him in Belgium for an hour or so. He's damn fast.
10 Tattoos in 2 years is a good ratio !! I started with 22 and the sleeve was my very first. Then did a lot in the following years but since I have a daughter (4yo) I only do 1-3 a year. I'm 30 now. Just don't have the time to travel around to get tattooed, and the money of course…
