Omg el, insane!!! My back took the same amount of time, when are you going to add the color?
color will be added over multiple sessions.. Gonna give it three or four weeks before drilling back into it..
How's the healing going el? Is the wife tired of lotioning you up yet? haha

@CLJ:
Pictures capture the event nicely! Is there specific symbolism behind them?
well the "broken arrow" is from the indian culture and stands for peace and the shark teeth symbol, called "niho-peata" is from the polynesian culture and stands for sacrifice and dedication for the own family…

Great piece. I like big pieces. My first was an 8 hour session in Dublin
Peeling the saran wrap.
Mama always said, "If you're gonna be a bear, be a grizzly."

what place would you guys (the ones having a tattoo, the tattooing artists or all the others that don´t have any but are thinking about one!) recommend for having the first ink job done on your body!?…
i´m planing on getting a tattoo for pretty long now, though i am still a bit undecided if i should get something done on my upper arm or instead of the arm, a nice chestpiece as my first tattoo...
i think both spots are pretty dope and the motive i´ve chosen to get looks dope either on the chest or the arm, so yeah :-\

I recall you mentioning in other posts about working in a professional environment (engineering I think?) so my advice would be anything that can be hidden by a golf-shirt. At least until you're well established. Yes long sleeve shirts can be worn to hide arm work but really not fun in the hottest summer heat.
You can always get more over time, which I guarantee you will… addictive bastards they are. While it should not be the case, tattoo discrimination still exists in the workplace. Making the most out of your career and self fulfillment seems to me to be a greater goal than collecting ink. I say this as a person with multiple tattoos. Back, chest, half sleeve left arm and shoulder done on right. Starting back piece in October.
