well all i did till today is that i´ve renewed the foil two times a day, in the morning and before going to bed. i´ve cleaned the tattoo with luke-warm water per hand, after removing the foil, patted it dry and then used a skin healing ointment and put on a new layer of foil.
did the same thing today without adding the foil…think i´m gonna clean it with fragrance free soap this evening and then thread it with skin healing ointment till the end of week one, which is friday...
you guys are d´accord?

Finn mate awesome first ink, Looks beautiful and impressive chest. Myself, I do not care that much just shower with pH neutral soap and cream three times a day a tiny bit with bepathen plus (the one for tattoos you may ask in your pharmacie). Just do not scratch on it doesnt matter how much it itches. Cool it a bit with a wet towel if necessary and let it breath as much as possible. With ur chest shouldnt be a prob man
thanks buddy and i really love it…somehow still a bit odd since my chest was "clean" for 25years now and now i´m going to have something on it for the rest of my life
and yeah, i use Panthenol from Liechtenstein...it´s the same as Bepanthen just a bit easier spread. and yeah, the itching was bad yesterday, since it got a bit warm under the foil but now i´m cool with it...hope it isn´t getting worse though"breath as much as possible"...topless through the day, well more through the house that is, right?

Did you receive Skin healing product from your artist or he recommended it? Sounds great To me, important is you feel fine just do not moisture too much
well i´ve copped the same cream he used on me before putting the foil on my chest. like stated above it´s the same as Bepanthen, just from Liechtenstein, which is easier to spread he said!

well i guess every artist has his own methods and in the end every method might bring the exact same result…maybe!
since it is my first tattoo and since i trust my man, i rolled with his advice (tattooing for 16years now and never had any kinda problems with his work afterwards!).this is what i use btw.:

Yeah IJ it is a science with the creams I know.
Anyway i fully trust my Artist.
A lot of Artists have their own method and recommendations which is good. Myself have never experienced colorloss issue but have heard of it. But mostly because of user "fault" though when moisturing too much. -
I do this: put a pea sized amount on my finger, then spread as far as that pea will go. Repeat until the entire tattoo is covered
this sounds like a good advice…thanks guys!
when cleaning do you guys "wash" off the cream first before cleaning the tattoo with fragrance free soap and water or how are the steps of "cleaning"?...sry for being a pain in the ass

sry for being a pain in the ass
You are not being a pain in the ass. They are important questions and you've been given some good answers. Aftercare is critical to the final look of your tattoo and is an often under appreciated part of the process.
Happy your first sit went well! It is going to look great when finished.
