Damn, that looks like it was painful. Very nicely done though.
-
Actually it was ok, not worse than on the arms. But I'm glad that I have two months until the next session.
-
wow.
getting your lumberjack on taken to another level. beautiful work
-
Thanks guys. We wanted to add saws and stuff, this will be done next time. The original sketch included them, but due to my shitty asymmetrical sunken chest we couldn't do it (yet?).
-
Asymmetrical sunken chest? Do a full bodysleeve and nobody will notice it
It looks great, Annie does great stuff. -
Indeed, it became much less noticeable already. One last picture (for this step of evolution). I just love how the colours and lines look when they're new.

Do anyone has a IH-Tattoo?
-
Finn, I will PM you
@shoreman: First I must say, that I think those tatto TV shows spolied people. You often here stuff like "well, my ma had cancer and when I was a kid, she showed me a peacock in the zoo and so I'm getting a peacock to show hr my support and love etc.". If you like an artwork just because it looks cool, go for it.
However, I have some stories regarding the chest. I grew up literally in the woods (you can see that when I post pics visiting my parents), my dad owns a small forest and we were chopping trees together as kid. I love being outdoor and my escape fantasy is to one day live in canada. (My uncles also were hunters, my grandpa built furniture, but that wasn't what I had in mind, but it fits anyway).
So, when I saw a similar pic of Jonas Nyberg, I proposed to Annie to put all these stuff together on my chest. But the dude is no portarait or the like.
Sorry for long elaboration. -
after 3 months of getting my first tattoo done, I have to say that I really hate that question and often leave it un-answered since I think it's just silly…
and I'm with Flo (max power) on this one, not every tattoo has to have a personal meaning imo! if you just love the look of something, go for it! simple as that... -
I have a policy never to ask people what their tattoos mean to them. I think it's super personal and something not often wished to share. That's my opinion though.
Nice attitude
Thanks for the response, Flo.
So, I'm assuming by the sour replies that I committed some kind of tattoo faux-pas by asking the question I did?
No Fauxpas imo, some have a meaning, some not.
Great pieces btw guys niiice

If I didn't want to share, I wouldn't have. But indeed, if you're tattooed you hear that question a lot and can get bummed out by that.
