Thanks for the tip, I have double check on the sizing, but I feel myself leaning towards the 555 Over the 888

After washing these inside out in cold water, the right leg got kind of funky in terms of Indigo loss. It’ll even out over time. Looks a little weird now.
Don’t worry it will get better, but why wash inside out, I had that experience before. That why l never wash inside out. My saying u want them to fade let the indigo run as wash

Picked up a second pair after deciding i could SQUEEZE into a tag30. HUGE Thank you to @Giles for tracking them down in Japan. Wearing 25oz Iron Denim this tight is not easy but i'm sure the initial struggle will result in a perfect fit once they break a little.

a few more pics of the 30's

Those fit you really nice actually.

yeah, Alex, those are good fit, but DAYUM they look tight.

I’ve read somewhere that these don’t fade fast . Maybe these will become most fast fading IH denim. Ink is very aggressive so far . I never wash or soak 25oz . I am planning on wearing this Without wash or soak for at least 8-10 months . Happy with IDxBK

Thanks guys, they're definitely tight and NOT easy to get on and off but i'm committed to a proper fit and i think they'll eventually relax to become a comfortable yet fitted denim. My plan is to keep them #dryuntiltheydie so i'll keep everyone posted on their progress here as well as on my IG page under the handle @kill_your_jeans
On another note I actually hope they'll be slow faders. To me that means each thread has been properly dyed to retain the indigo color longer. Right? isn't it obvious if your denim is fading fast, that just means they haven't been dyed with as much indigo causing a faster indigo loss? Seems like the denim companies are pulling a fast one on those in search of "fast faders".. less indigo means less cost to the denim maker..
I applaud Iron Heart for being a denim maker that upholds the standards of true and lasting products that don't break down or lose their indigo in a month.. Being a member of the "Stubborn Crew" means having an appreciation for the hard work and dedication it takes to not only make these lifetime products but also to have the patience to let them age the way they were meant to. I'm a believer in this craft and technique through and through and I look forward to the long road ahead.

Maybe I am just used to slow fading 21 oz denim. But my 888 pair is fading quite fast.

Slow fader they gonna fade anyway.
But in my experience wearing jeans true size may be problem the reason they need touch water at some point.
As we move on in life they may go tighter as human body grows unless your old man.
I remember one time went with size 29 jeans worn long as possible without washing, wash or soak later on they become tighter, as I learn wearing jeans little bit bigger size is safe and you get to wear more.
Now I wear 31 or 32 in waist of 33 inches.
I have worn jeans without washing can’t see the benefit of it, indigo colour to last longer doesn’t bother me, fades slower or faster It will happen, not touching water can end with blowout crotch’s or repair needed
I have gone through a lot of brands made in Japan. Now only like to wear three brands which are Iron heart follow by Pure blue japan and flat heads.
People have they own experience as they learn over time comes along with mistakes. Then ready to move on to next pair..
I don’t think company are pulling a fast one, it customer choice what you want. Find out about jeans what magic can bring in fading, what you want.
If you wear premium brands it will cost but quality you can’t go wrong with it. They know what to deliver to the customer.

I’m going to echo filthy here, these are fading considerably fast compared to my other denim. The cool thing though is that they’re so rich in indigo that, to my eye at least, the tonal shifts are from black to very dark blue.
