FYI.. Mike bought the last 46 we had and Fine Creek has no plans to make these again. When they do make a jacket model a second time it's usually at least a year or two after the first release.

Thank a lot @twin !! I appreciate the inspiration you gave me to buy it.
@kiya I feel extremely fortunate to have gotten the last one. Like you were telling me, the sleeves have shortened up into the creases now and the length is just right.
No lie, I got 5(!) compliments on my jacket this evening while I was out. This dude from Boston that was a Marine I had never met before yelled to me as I was leaving, "Nice jacket!" So I went over to say hi and told him about your website. He said, that jacket would, "give the Fonz a hardon!"

you should definitely be on their marketing payroll @twin one of the things I like about the jacket (on you) is the wider sleeve openings and the larger biceps area. The other thing that got me about the jacket is the sheen of the leather. It looks awesome on you. Thanks a lot.

I’m envious guys, truly I am. The broad shoulder and larger biceps measurements of the VB would be nice to have but I need to do some real research. That sheen is magnificent and making it hard to resist.
Are these jackets pretty warm? How miserable is it to move in?Which jacket do you have Chap? I also like the buckle back and profile…

@Anesthetist it hurts so good. Like my thumbs were all banged up trying to get the buttons done up today. Well, between that and my sewing awl leather patch project I did earlier.
The jacket is like 25 oz XHS denim in a way… it's thick and tough. But I think the payoff will be worth it in the end. I had to button and unbutton the jacket several times while I wasn't wearing it to get it even close to being manageable.
It's stiff but isn't too bad over the new ihsh-277 I wore tonight. I really enjoyed wearing it tonight.

@Anesthetist The Virginia Beach jacket I think would suit you well. Check the size chart. You may fit the size 44. This leather has a nice shine to it.

Mine's a Richmond, kind of Type I style… the leather softens up quite fast, it's substantial but not stiff. I choose mine snug meant to be worn with a T only but it is working well with a thin thermal long sleeve as well. The leather looses a bit of its sheen with wear. Armholes are cut small but easy to get in from the very beginning.

Beat that jacket into submission @Filthy –the fit is good

Could anyone who owns the Virginia Beach and and any other FCL jacket comment on whether the armhole / bicep area is cut bigger on the VB compared to the other FCL jackets? I have the FCL Roberts which fits me like a glove and doesn’t have an overly big armhole / bicep cut, unlike many other manufacturers in my experience. Thank you.
