IH-101J-SR - 18oz Selvedge Denim Storm Rider Jacket - Indigo
-
First time out this fall…..
-
Really interested to see how this jacket will fade…I had the 101J a while back but sold it...it faded really well.
Lots of blue popping, especially on the arms and around the pockets, but hasn't been washed yet. What is remarkable is how much it has softened up.

Awesome to hear…such a stellar jacket.

I wear mine all the time since the fall dropped in, and maybe I e not been rough and tumble with it enough but have found it to be fading fairly slow. I just need some outdoor play with my nieces and nephew to change that, I suppose

I love the new blanket. Which jacket will be warmer? The lined Type 3 or the SR? I’m leaning toward the former.

@Anesthetist see OG post for measurement chart, difference was so minimal no changes required

Any chance Alex can model an XL? I’m a bit in between…
-
He's not in until later this week….
No worries, I’ll figure it out [emoji106]

I can't speak for the Iron Heart version, but in general a sherpa lined jacket will be warmer than a blanket lined one. I think the Storm Rider gets more use where I live (Oregon), but I have a sherpa lined type 3 for really cold days. I can't wait for the 526SL and I'll definitely be picking one up so long as the measurements work out.

Wore mine today. More than kept the London rain out.

Rolling the dice on a large, here’s to hoping it fits!
