IHSH-234-CAM - Kersey Western Shirt - Camel
-
Is the camel kersey going to come out in the workshirt?
-
@Elephantricity only in the indigo variety
-
@Elephantricity not this time. This was another case of using up the last few rolls of some fabric, so we could push out some ‘new’ stuff without needing to mill
More fabric. Maybe down the line -
@LeDuc_RW and @Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot .. not bad at all
-
Mine just came as well. Guess I shouldn’t be so surprised but wonderful hand to the fabric, not what I expected. Currently overheating in my Atlanta house trying to “break” it in. It’s like a little heater, similar to uhf
-
@Tobi oh that’s damn nice! Yup I’m gonna order me one. Is the fabric thick enough that the snaps don’t “jingle”? I’ve had the the copper on some lighter fabrics and man I sound like Santa Claus coming!
-
@Tobi that looks so good!
-
@LeDuc_RW no jingle.. this is no lightweight
-
@Tobi yea seeing yours certainly gives me button envy. My black ones seems so small ha
-
@jfk1117 no reason! I was on the fence since the black snaps look super nice with the caramel colour!
-
@Tobi
those copper snaps look awesome on Kersey !
great choice Tobi ! -
@Tobi all I know is the shirt is awesome and for those on the fence, get ‘em while they are hot. As Alex said, this is leftover fabric. Who knows when they will come or if they’ll ever come again
-
@Tobi looks so good with the copper snaps
-
Got mine in today. It’s incredible how comfortable the Kersey fabric is while weighing in at 14oz.

For those who own UHF, which I guess is probably everyone here! How does this compare in size? I'm looking at the size chart and I can see it is a little more snug in comparison. Did you have to size up from your UHF size, or were you able to get the same size?
-
@Peckinpah The shoulders on this felt a lot more snug than they do on my Size M Western UHF.
That being said I think it's hard to generalise one "UHF size" as I've got 3, two M and one L, all fit me fine but measure differently.
I would probably go L in this. Shoulders and chest, forget the rest is my motto for shirts, sort of has to be with short arms
-
@AdamJ Thanks for the reply, man. I think I'd be safe with an XL, which my two UHF's are, the only noticeable decrease in size is the chest, which for the Kelsey 22.8 whereas my UHF 23.0 and the other is 23.4.
I can always send it back and swap for the bigger size. Hopefully they'll still be in stock in August when I can place an order.

I actually went XL here. The arm holes / trap area felt snug for me but everything else is great. I felt like a day of wear around the house opened it up. I generally am XXL in UHF western but the xxl here seemed way too big for me and believe that to be accurate after having XL
