could of just walked across the beach to the actual location & decided it was a great place to snap a photo ::)
it happens. way to make them your own urb. not a fan of the width of those laces, think the boot needs a thicker lace to properly support them.
i don't bbq inside seul, were you get that idea from?

Honestly, I am with you. I'm still not happy with my lace choice with these. This is the fourth pair I've tried(brown/gold, brown leather, black leather, red nylon). Might just go back to the black leather ones, unless I find a thicker red.

Brown leather didn't work out, Shane?
I thought they were gonna be it. Hell, I don t know. Might put them back in. I guess it really just depends on what I'm wearing.

i'm 10.5 US in Red wing beckman. What size should i get on this one?
9.5
I'm a size 10.5US in Red Wing 875/877
I'm a size 11US in every other shoe I own.
Forgive me, I'm about to skull bang a dead horse here but, about the sizing of the IHV-01 compared to Red Wings (just for size reference)… The 875 Red Wing Boot is slightly oversized so I take a 10.5US instead of my usual 11US. However, I'm not sure how the Beckman fits in relation to the 875 model. Is the Beckman (referred to in the above quote) oversized just like the Red Wing 875? Are all Red Wings oversized? If so, then I would need a 9.5 UK (10.5 US) in the Viberg SB just like Mankarat would. And there is a 9.5 available. But if the Beckman he's referring to fits TTS and Mankarat normally takes a 10.5US in most shoes, then I would need to get a size 10 UK (11 US) in these. And there's no size 10 available. I wonder if the 9.5 will work. I'm almost too embarassed to post this neurotic rambling… I really want these boots.

Anticipating your fit review on the ihv-01 size 9.5 Freeman. We have the same feet. If the 9.5 sell out after you confirm that they fit, I will know that it was never meant to be..
-
KC, if you are a 10 US would that not make you a 9uk? Sounds like you found out that you should actually get a 9.5uk… I thought it was a full size down. Goddamn I'm confused! I'm a 10.5us in red wing 875's. So should I get a 10uk?!? I'm going to fuck this up for sure. I should just buy some Jordans... in a size 11.

yeah i was confuse on whether to go 1/2 or 1 size down too, which is why i dropped them an email. i measured my feet on the red wing measurement scale. technically, i should be getting a 10.5 D in most red wings boots. however, I went 1/2 a size down for my iron ranger as I was told it tends to run a tad larger compared to their other boots due to the cutting. it worked out fine for me. i am pretty sure a 9.5 viberg would suit you fine. if you're still unsure, i guess you could simply just measure your feet, and size accordingly. http://www.shoesfaq.co.uk/measure.htm

Good to know. Whereabouts do you live? Can these withstand snow and, with the right protection and maintenance, salt?
