Bitch Please… FAKE Iron Heart?
-
I just reported this one on Grailed. There are plenty of photos of how bad of a fake this is, as long as the listing is up:
-
The close up of the sleeve cuff is the dead giveaway. The stitching is very shoddy, and I think the snaps are the wrong way round (the male end of the snap is on the part of the cuff which is covered, rather than on the top of the snap? Although I think the thread here of the genuine article might be showing off the interior of other side of the sleeve).
Looks like they've pinched some of IH's genuine marketing pictures for the listing too.

@Alex thought exactly the same when I saw it yesterday
-
I saw that shirt in an email update from Withered Fig. Thought the same thing, not cool that it’s nearly the same pattern
-
A quick legal insight: the colour and pattern of a garment can, even if not registered, be protected as an 'unregistered community design' in the EU. Protection is 3 years from the date on which the design was first made available to the public. Obviously, I haven't got a clue if there are comparable laws in Japan.
Not suggesting anything, but there are companies out there suing each other for exactly this kind of shitty behaviour! -
@Alex said in Bitch Please… FAKE Iron Heart?:
too close to our nanny release for my liking
But the anny UHF looks eons better than this shitty imitation.
-
Idk, seems kind of shitty of Withered Fig to simultaneously sell that while collaborating with IH
-
I had to do a double take, but there are a number of distinguishing features in the shirt itself (single yoke, button flaps, pocket shapes, buttons not snaps) and in the colours used in the sax pattern (the UES one has no red or grey) when you look closely. Would require experienced IP counsel (which I am not) to advise on this one if IH was minded to make a big deal of it.
