IHJ-54-BLK - Japanese Horsehide Rider's Jacket with Collar - Black (Tea-Core Dye
-
Hello! I ordered this in medium, and after a quick back and forth with Josh, I have determined the sleeve size to be too long so it's best to let someone else order it. A shame, really, I love how the this jacket looks when it fits well. When it doesn't, it looks awful.
-
@sushicat92 probably best emailing the guys on shop@ironheart.co.uk than trying to deal with it on the forum
-
@LewisStonehouse He has been communicating with the guys. What he is saying is that the M he ordered will not work for him, so it will be going back into stock.

Fell in love through this thread,
tried it on on Friday
pulled the trigger on Saturday
sported it at a party I’ll remember for the rest of my life
got it signed by Haraki on Sunday
back in Munich writing this post on MondayHumbled to be able to wear such a jacket and looking forward to rocking the hell out of it!
My next post will not be until there’s some tea core to showFor reference:
193cm, 94kg, long torso (102cm sitting hight),
typically wearing XXL Westerns, XXL 1600s, XL Thermals…
Went with a tts XXL in this jacket// With a 1600 tee, unzipped
// With a 1600 tee, zipped
// With a 1600 tee + Hickory, unzipped
// „In the wild“ at the party
// Signed by Haraki. I’ll never forget that moment
// Detail shot together with unworn UHR. Trying to do that leather justice

Great weekend, story, jacket and pics.

Thanks guys! Still a bit hot for it, but looking forward to a significant temperature drop next week

Temperatures dropped. Yay!
Still can't believe I'm actually wearing this jacket. -
Nice! Looks badass, man. Btw I also like what I can see of your bag — what is it? Filson maybe?

Thanks, mate! Yes, it’s my trusty Filson 257. So sad it’s discontinued now. It’s got way more space than the 256 while not being as chunky as the 258 Computer bag.
-
Ahh cool — thank you! I was actually looking at Filson recently and was wondering if some of the stuff had been changed, and you've answered that question for me. I have a duffel of theirs I've beat to hell — it's about 15 years old, really has done its job with plenty left. I need a good sort of refined/classic messenger. Been hoping to find something I like in leather, but that's turned out tougher than I expected. Who knows, might end up with one of the newer Filson offerings if I can find one I like!
-
Glad I could help! When I was first looking at an upgrade from the Crumpler Cheesy Disco (great bag btw!) I was using and abusing for 8 years, I was also confused by the different Filson models…
The 256 is a legendary briefcase and if you can live with limited space, it might be a great option for you! It can fit a 15“ MacBook, a few books, pencil case, and/or a light jacket. It’s made for thin things though, so don’t expect to store your chunky lunchbox or a DSLR camera bag in it.
There’s even a (ridiculously expensive, imo) leather version of it,

you may have looked already, but if not I can highly recommend Saddleback Leather, I have the "flight bag" which carries my computer, lunch and a few other things quite easily and looks great as it wears and construction is tank like

apologize for the thread derail…. I have the IHJ 35 riders jacket without collar... and I love it.
