hi there GC…
im looking at the belts from Pigeon Tree Crafting at the moment.
How are you liking those that I see in the picture?
any feedback would be cool.Thanks--
Dino

I absolutely love his belts, been a follower and fan of Isaac's craft for a while.
I have found that after a couple of months, the belts do stretch about 1/2', generally one hole, so bear that in mind when ordering if you want the clasp to remain in the middle of the five holes cut. My first order was as per his instructions and I ordered 36', but soon found I was on the second to last hole. For my second purchase, the green sedgwick one, I ordered a 35.5' and its started life one hole up from centre, and now after the same period and use, the clasp sits slap bang in the middle.
You'll not regret a purchase from him, just the customs import tax that stings a little, so my advice is, if you have a couple of items in mind, aim to get them in one hit to avoid the extra postage. The other black belt, is from Hollows Leather, again, a fab small business to check out online or on Insta.
Good luck, and be sure to let me know which if any you go for.
Cheers, Glenn

Thats really good info Glenn,
and good point about the ordering two to avoid that charge:
so basically I should order one size down due to the stretch.
I actually do have my eyes on two that he has….was just thinking about getting another IH shirt instead of two belts..lol
might have to flip a coin.thanks again

@GC:
No worries Dino.
Once you follow the detailed instructions on how to measure for an order, I personally would go down just 0.5'' or 12.5mm. If in doubt, ask Isaac, he'll be the best person to advise on fitment.
Out of interest, what IH shirt have you got your eye on?
Cheers,
Glenn C
Will do Glen –-just want to get it right the first time around;)
As for my shirt wish list at this point..im really liking the IHSH-96 Indigo Waffle.
Thought it would be a relatively lighter choice for the spring early summer months. And I need to be faster on my choices as they fly off the shelves almost as soon as they stock them, at least in my sizes..L -XL.The CPOs are whispering to me as well:)

Isaac ran out of the nickel plated double pronged buckles….
so I went with this one
1.5" Brown Tärnsjö Swedish Vegetable Tanned Leather - Double or Single Prong Quick Release Belt - Brass, Nickel, Copper - Tarnsjo × 1
Teardrop Holes / Nickel Plated Brass / Single ProngThanks for the tip on the sizing

Good choice @dinobarnesberlin that's a great leather and colour way. His work really does deserve the acclaim it receives.
Oh, I forgot to get back and say, that the IH waffle shirt you had your eyes on is also on my list. I missed it first time round, as I was intent on securing other heavy weight pieces. Now the've sold, I sort of want it more
-
Yea, im liking that shirt a lot now that its warming up here. Good thing for us is that its a continuous run.
im on the notification list for it….so we still have hope:)Isaac told me that his backlog is crazy right now, so I have no idea when the belt will arrive.
But that's ok...not like I have anything better to do now anyways.stay healthy Glenn

I was on the waiting list and yesterday I got the notification that the IHSH-96 was in!
only a few but I snagged one in my size. Grahm has been such a great help with my orders:)
I will post when I get it.
Trying to build up my IH arsenalstay safe Glenn

Great stuff @dinobarnesberlin I did too I luckily snagged the last L as my beloved shirt collection is largely based on 12 oz fabrics. Looking forward to this one for summer..

Cant wait to see how this one feels compared to the 12oz Wabash Indigo.
Glad you got yours too!
And congrats on winning that 10% off for your Social Distancing entry:
Was very clever -
I probably measured my existing belt 50 times before I finally decided on a final measurement. My previous Barrett Alley belt was also custom so I knew where that one started and where it ended before I retired it. I adjusted my measurement and went a little bit smaller. When I first got my PTC belt it was almost too tight to wear. I asked Isaac and he mentioned he takes a little bit off the measurement to allow for some stretch. In time it became just right. Now, depending on what I have tucked in or not I'm either in the center or one off.

Re the IHSH-96, no doubt like you I’ve read too many good reports on this one to ignore. Stay well buddy. -

Haha, sounds much like my experience. As said, it’s always best to double check with the maker if you can.
Cheers @kiecker stay safe fella.

I have a feeling it will take awhile until the belt gets delivered considering the virus situation, and the fact that I think Isaac is pretty much a one man operation.
But damn if im not excited
I see so many posts in the forum of people wearing his belts…..and I don't see him getting much credit.@kieker which belt did you order?
-
Natural Veg Tan.
This is after 10 months of daily wear on the belt.
-
That is looking real good @kiecker !
I ordered a leather keeper on mine…but really..they look great with or without.
Looking forward to getting mine:)
