IH-888S-SBG - 21oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise SBG
-
@fanya my experience with an older run of this denim is that pet hair clinginess goes away with wear and washes.
-
@weftyarn yeah I think my photos exaggerate the fades, they’re pretty much just varying degrees of shininess with some gray fuzz fibers coming thru. I have been doing a some of my PT stuff in them though. Still they’re a ways behind where my 21ib were at 50 wears.
Thanks @Heavy_blue man! Loving em!
-
Agree re: pet hair. Had a bunch of lint the first couple days/weeks and i thought it would drive me crazy forever but it seemed like as they softened up they became much less of a lint magnet.
-
Looking at those pics on an actual computer screen vs my phone, i see they're way too light and washed out....will have to reshoot.
-
I guess these should reflect the look a little better
-
impeccable @WhiskeySandwich
love the stacking and whiskers!will try to take some proper update pics of mine
-
@weftyarn thanks! I’d love to see how yours are doing.
-
Here you go
62/62 wear days thus far but they‘re still bravely holding on to their dye no matter what I throw at them haha.
Let‘s see what a week of hiking will do to them. -
@weftyarn yeah they def seem to be slow to start. Ive got some speckling on the thighs but otherwise the only real fades are the slight wallet lines and the back belt loop. It noticed my 888s fade that belt loop faster than anything, kinda weird
-
As part of my commute, I walk about a mile and go up 20 flights of stairs every day. It’s probably the single biggest contributor to my fades. These SBG def seem to go at a different rate than others I’ve had, but I have a feeling the flood gates will open at around 100 or so wears.
-
Here is one month of constant wear of these amazing jeans.
-
And now two months of wear and I couldn’t be happier.
-
Slow going. 57 wears and not much to show, but I do love them and no rush, cuz they look awesome at any stage.
-
@Alex Just out of curiosity - why 888 cut is the only one SBG where copper rivets were switched to stainless steel ones?
-
@Alex Thanx for your prompt reply Alex. Do I take you right understanding that there is no plans to go back to the copper rivets on 888 cut?
-
@Alex Well, I wouldn't say stainless steel rivets look ugly may be even on the contrary considering monochrome of SBG they are a better match, however old school dinosaurs like me prefer what they are used to through their life i.e. to the copper ones
