IH-888S-SBG - 21oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise SBG
-
@Mizmazzle it worked out, I almost felt like I ruined them but a few days of walking in the rain evened it out. did learn to treat these different than my other denim though. SBG does not like being scrunched up and agitated. 100% sticking to soapy soaks from now on.

@WhiskeySandwich fair enough! Another thing I’ve noticed is the more they fade the less ya need to worry about marbling.

Hi, Any chance of a restock for soon? Very much looking forward for those.
-
A little fade update. Lighting makes such a huge difference with these.
Absolutely love the greys! -
@weftyarn holy cow, those are going at light speed in the same direction as your 21 indigo. Givin em hell! Especially that patch! lol love this pair.
-
Still a long way to go and it’s getting hotter by the minute haha
But love the way they age with the subtle marbling and stuff. That patch though… Something must have went wrong with this one. It just looks so helpless

@AdamJ Thank you for your reply. Will have to wait then.
-
Another month down and I love watching them change day by day.
-
First day of wear (perfect time for summer) & very happy with the fit.
Went ahead and hemmed them so I really hope I don’t accidentally shrink the inseam. Feel free to recommend me care advice so that doesn’t happen
-
@alvory perfect fit man. What boots are those? I have a pair of Chisos ropers I wear sometimes.
-
@alvory looking sharp dude!! Another important thing to remember is to make sure your flip them inside out and then soak them in the bathtub for about 30 minutes. You want to make sure they are fully soaked through before washing cold. These are highly prone to marbling and soaking them really helps to mitigate that. Also, use no spin or lowest spin possible on the washer setting. The spin can really set creases in wonky places that will leave faded crease lines that can be a bummer.
But, if you do end up with some marbling or crease fades…time will heal all wounds and they will fade into perfection down the line.

@Mizmazzle Nice! Love a good roper. These are Ariat Heritage R-toes. Definitely my most comfortable pair of boots.
Thanks everyone for the advice. I’ll revisit and post updates as they age.

In need of some repairs but loving the journey.

Sharp contrasts on those. I'm also at the 6 month mark on mine, but nowhere near to where you are!

Normally i am not that bad in choosing the right size, but now i need help
I am between Sizes in these boy! I don't now if i should take a 38 or 40. To me: I am 1.84m, 102kg with a Beer Belly (a little but also a Muscular (Type Rugby Player)
I own a 555-SBG in Tag 38 which is quite too tight and fits like a skinny Jeans. My 634 is also Size 38 and quite tight at the Waist but good at Tights etc. I need a Waist about 51-52cm streched and the 38 has only 47-48cm unstreched. But i am afrait that the 40 will be too roomy at the hips.
Perhaps here is someone with quite similar Body Type?
What does that that sound for you?
PLEASE HELP
