IHSB-BB-NAT - Natural Horsehide Jacket - The Bareback
-
- thanks guys
-
I hope it's OK to post my outlet score here as it is Bareback, though not IH labeled. If not I'll post in the SB thread.
I really like the material and think the fit will be great once broken in.

Max…I’m following for updates. Jacket looks great.

After 4 wears I have to say I'm really surprised how warm and sturdy the leather is, from the soft touch and ability to move you'd guess it's lighter than it actually is. That's a huge plus in my book, might even make it suitable for wear on warmer days of winter.
The fit is perfect in every dimension I feel light they hit perfect measurements for me. The pockets are super useful, the handwarmer pockets are also the most usable ones I have on all my jackets due to the cut and even if I initially wished they had a Zipper I'm glad they don't as it doesn't scratch the sleeves.
The leather however shows every single scratch and raindrop, given that I won't even start to try and protect it but wear it as hard as I can with my office job.

Some more fast evo

That leather really does show every tiny little thing, doesn't it? I'm guessing it will be less noticeable as it darkens and changes color, but I kinda like how quickly it becomes unique to each owner.
-
Yeah, it literally shows anything. Every raindrop, every small scratch. But that's part of the attraction, it gets patina with every single wear. I might one day treat it with Mustang paste, I guess it evens out then.

Love the evo

I haven’t done anything to mine, but I know wlemon used Pecard Leather Dressing before I got it.
-
Thank you both!

@Giles will these be restocked? And if so, would I take my normal IH jacket size? (normally an xxl)
-
I wear XL in this, the ihj 35 and most IH tops as vests, denim jackets and shirts. So yes, I'd go with your usual size.
