IH-634-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

Thanks to everyone who's been helping me out with getting these jeans. Apparently all the working out I've done recently has put a few inches on my waist that I didn't think existed. I measured my two pairs of N&F today by the IH guide. One is 34" and the other is 35". I've got my sights on the 34" now. My new agenda is the inseam. If 34" is my end result inseam, would getting it hemmed to 35" give me a solid cuff if desired? Once again, thanks for the help.

Got my blue parcel the other day, and first impressions of these are that the material feels very special, although as my daughter put it, "like cardboard"…......however after a couple of hours wear they are starting to feel a bit less stiff, and more normal, at least insofar as 25oz denim can be considered normal
The two things that really surprised me were that they are slightly looser in the waist than comparable 634S's (I'm a W36), and that the top button is a real pig to do up the first couple of times, in fact you should probably make sure that you're not needing to go to the bathroom in a hurry when you first wear these, could be embarrassing
Other than that, I'm really looking forward to seeing how these develop, and my cunning plan to help kick off the break in is to wear them under my textile motorbike trousers for my hour long commute to work and back each day - I figure if I remove the winter liner and wear these instead, I'll be just as warm, probably slightly better protected, and the jeans should mould to me a bit quicker.
Any recommendations about how much allowance for 'behind the knee' bunching I should make when considering what length to get them hemmed at? For reference my 634SR's are at 33" and feel spot on, but I wondered if I should add a 1/2" or more to that for these to allow for the fact that they're still new, and the creases may pull in more material?
If I didn't have to wear a suit every day, life would be so much easier, at least wrt to finding time to wear my jeans
