Engineered Garments Andover Pant in the Fall/Winter versions will get you some in line pockets and some heavy fabric with well-made details @motojobobo
@Nik thank you for the above suggestion.
I checked them out online but their style is more refined/dressier than I am looking for. Looking for a more informal look. -
I'll be making my first-ever visit to the UK in May. Is there a process for visiting IHUK in Gosport, or is it walk-in friendly?

@motojobobo finding iron heart weight is tough but if you haven’t - take a look at Freenote Deck Pants. They are the only chino type pant I own anymore. Similar fit to a 634, slightly higher rise and a bit more relaxed in the top block. I have two pair and once they soften up with wear you barely notice them.

Just bought this CPO from ebay .
Any ideas what number it is ?

@tody
yes , thought of 177 too , but this does not have the twill linings -

Thank you for your suggestion @iammortalcombat . I’m generally looking for ‘on-seam’ front pockets. Those are my favorites since got a pair of Banana Republic chinos in the early 80s while in college! Memories you know…
The Freenotes look nice though…I may end up trying a pair. Nice color options too. -
@Giles
I have the 76 , has the twill linings too .
So this is not the 76
seems this is not that easy to find out -
@Daniel-San Looks like it might be the 140 which was an 11oz denim.
-
yea, looks like a lighter weight than my 177
-
@Jett129
bingo , must be the 140
great, thank you for the help! -
Def a 140, I wore mine yesterday!

When would I wear a cpo vs a type 3? Is it just preference?
Love the look of of the 293 but I also had been planning to pickup a 526L if they are in stock this year. Just don’t want to essential have 2 similar pieces that I would end up just having one or the other sit

@iammortalcombat Aesthetic preference, yes
