Hey friends. I’m wondering about honeycombs behind the knees shifting after a wash. I super hot soaked my XHSbb and got some shrinkage. Not sure if I should just warm machine wash em now to get max shrinkage (kinda scared of marbling…I know some don’t mind marbling but I’d prefer not to get any. Soaking through before wash helps I know too)
My question here is, if I wear em hard for awhile and then wash em in 6 months and get that shrinkage in the length, will those combs shift significantly enough to get misaligned? I’ve heard it’s a thing, but never experienced it myself.

Is the IHSH-75 the only denim work shirt that Iron Heart has produced with metal buttons?
I remember it being the button of choice for their non-flannel workshirts for one season, which included the indigo/black wabash fabrics. Can't recall what year that was.

Thanks @J-IV . I just nabbed a denim workshirt on eBay in nearly new condition, and it has the metal buttons. I’m trying to work out what iteration I’ve just bought.
Ivy mate at work has an indigo wabash with metal buttons (I told him about IH a couple of years ago and he went on a splurge), and it looks really cool. -
Hey guys and gals, I have an opportunity to buy the 16OZ NON-SELVEDGE DENIM WESTERN SHIRT - SUPERBLACK (FADES TO GREY) from a private party. I got the pit to pit and everything checks out size wise at 24" Why is this shirt labeled SP Large? I guess it means special? If anyone could enlighten me further I would appreciate it. Havent seen any other shirts by Iron Heart labeled like this. Thanks so much!!!!!

LHT vs RHT over time?
Hello,
Looking for my first pair of quality jeans which took me to Iron Heart. Kind of overwhelming at first but think I narrowed down to 666 19oz LHT or 666 18oz vintage (I hitch I assume is RHT?). I need a little help deciding between the two. I’ve read that LHT tends to be a little softer but not sure how noticeable that is. I think I’m more concerned with how they will look as they fade and age. Any advice or comparison pics over time would be very appreciated!Thanks!

@RazorD
you find everything you are looking for in the specific threads
there is one for every cut and kind of denim. You can find the link on the product page .
from my experience the 19oz LHT is not softer than the 18oz . the only LHT that gets really soft is the 21oz lht .
if you want it really soft , take 21oz -
@RazorD Welcome!
The 19oz Left Hand Twill is significantly more rigid than the 18oz Vintage denim. Having worn both, I can say that the 19oz LHT takes longer to break in and soften up. Both are capable of producing great fades, but this depends on a number of factors, such as how long/frequently you wear them.
There are a number of fade examples of these denims on the forum. A couple of good examples are:
The IH-526L thread here whilst not jeans, it's the same denim and some great examples of the fades in there.
Giles old 18oz pair are in the Hall of Fades here as well as some great examples in this thread

Thanks. Tbh, I don’t really care about the difference in softeners. More interested in how it looks over time and everything I read just showed me close up pattern explanations (very interesting but not helpful for what I wanted to know). I’ll look at those pages. Thank you!
