@markus_berlin_ Just wear your 18oz brother
-
@Fades-for-future I'll do that... but a 25oz would still not be bad

@markus_berlin_ indeed my friend

I wear this every day, Monday to Friday for work—five times a week. I think I washed it once around month 8 or 9, can’t really remember. Now it’s been about 10 months. I soaked it once when I first got it.

These 25 oz XHS were my first Iron Hearts bought in May 2014, size 34. They stretched and became too big so I sized down to a 32, and didn't wear the size 34s much. In time they shrank so I have started wearing them again but the patch had gone quite brittle and was discoloured.
I noticed a small pile of random patches in the workshop at last September's party including a new patch with the exact same model and size as my 25 oz size 34s but then forgot about it until a couple of weeks ago when I asked Josh if he still had it. He did!
Josh has now done an excellent job at replacing the patch and even returned the old one!

@Bailey Any more clarity on if we might see these released this month?

I just got my first really heavy pair of IH delivered, and I love them. I gave them a hot soak, and they are surprisingly comfy. I'm a 54-year old slightly tubby dude, looking for honest feedback. I like to both cuff and stack jeans, but do I need to hem these a bit? Are the stacks too much? Thanks!
-
@IronFart For me yes, and I would hem them. However, everyone is different and it depends on how you envision the jeans fading down the road. Look at different fade pictures and see what appeals to you. Multiple tight stacks, honeycomb, and creases would be a reason to keep them at their current length.
Edit: @Filthy2123ozjunkie used to have big fat cuffs on his jeans and they always looked great on him. Experiment with them and have fun.

@goosehd -- thanks so much for the quick response! I think I'll just keep wearing them for now to see how they fall after more wear. Then I'll probably take a least an inch off.
Good grief but these jeans are amazing! The problem with wearing something like this is that I never want to go back to my cheaper lighter jeans. I may need to move somewhere cold so I can keep wearing them all year.
