@Jett129 I just heard on the local radio that covers Washington teams that Jayden Daniels has not been practicing this week and I'm assuming it was the Commanders coach that said if they don't practice the week prior to games he doesn't like playing them. I guess those ribs still hurt, which is understandable. I fell down slippery deck stairs one night and bruised/cracked a rib when I was in my 20s. Hit my head too...I couldn't lift my arm or breathe deeply without being in eye watering pain for weeks after.

We start off week 8 with 6 players left. @twistlock is rolling with the Chiefs over The Raiders. Fun fact…The Chiefs haven’t lost since the Raiders beat them soundly on Christmas Day las year. @Nocturama has The Chargers over The Saints @IrishHeart has The Lions over The Titans @Mizmazzle will be breaking out the socks for The Broncos over The Panthers and @Oaktavia will be fading The Eagles over The Bengals. Need a pick from @Matt and we’ll be good to go.

WTF just happened in Washington??? Unbelievable end to the game.
-
@IrishHeart , there's a simple explanation...
The Bears still suck! -
@scooter just when I thought they were beginning to suck less!

@goosehd said in American Football (NFL):
The Bears defense stood around and waited for Daniel’s to throw the ball. Sure they put a little pressure on him, forced him out of the pocket, and then just stood there watching him. Unbelievable
Do you think that maybe they thought that time had run out and the game was over. I’m watching,like you,and thinking why aren’t they chasing him? Maybe they thought No Way,can he throw it. Pretty bizarre.

@Jett129 I think you’re right and they just assumed that it was over…The Commander’s fully deserved that victory and the Bears defensive line needs to wear that one…
Williams getting the ball down there at the end was impressive and the 2 point conversion was icing on the cake. That game should have been over at that point. Daniel’s moving the ball down the field was textbook though and he deserves every penny of his salary for that one.

Since no one is in on tonight’s game,let’s get right to it. Our Indigo Six Six Six all picked correctly. Excellent job. Let’s start with @Mizmazzle who knows there are 420 ways to loose a football game but only one way to win,you have to score more points than the other team which is exactly what the Denver Broncos did beating The Panthers 28-14. Didn’t even mention The coveted Socks. This is the year that one of my all time favorite rock n roll bands,The MC5,got inducted into The RnR Hall of Fame. Could this also be the year that The Detroit Lions,dare I say it,go to the Super Bowl. They looked like a well oiled machine out scoring The Titans 52-14,and driving @IrishHeart and @Matt into week 9. The slick pick of the week goes to @Oaktavia for picking the underdog Eagles to beat The Bengals,on the road,which they did,convincingly 37-17. And everyone in West Virginia could hear oaktavia singing Fly Eagles Fly. @Nocturama easily heads into week 9 as The Bolts/Chargers shock The Saints 26-8. And last but certainly not least @Twistlock picks the team everyone,loves to hate,these days and rolls a 7 as The Chiefs go to Las Vegas,roll the dice and The Raiders 27-20. Once again congratulations to everyone,and on to week #9. Football on Thursday,Sunday,and Monday. And for The Detroit Lions I leave you this…

Well done all - didn’t expect 6/6 this weekend!
I’ll take Eagles over Jags for Week 9.
