I guess I'm at a point that I feel OK talking about this past summer. I will do my best to make a long story short.. I started Fun in Philadelphia around 1st May, after injuring my knee at work. While dealing with workers comp issues, was trying to get better, and developed kidney stones early in June, which were the worst thing I have ever experienced. Then had an MRI on my knee, which revealed I needed the surgery, which I had 6th July after returning from Berlin. Then the evening of 10th July, while unwrapping the compression bandage from my knee, I felt indigestion, which after numerous discussions from the knee surgeon discussing possibilities of blood clots, I thought that was what was causing the indigestion. Nope, I went to the ER right away, which is 2 miles from my house, I was having a heart attack. Because I went there immediately and was taken care of immediately, I have no heart damage, and why the cardiologist Okayed me to go to London 20th July. Now I am completing cardiac rehab, feel stronger than ever, not smoking since 10 July, and still buying Iron Hearts. That's my story.

I thank everyone for their kind words.

Ofcom has produced a guide to offensive words and gestures.
Feck is described as, "Medium language, potentially unacceptable pre-watershed. Often seen as humorous. Older
participants more likely to consider the word unacceptable."So do the older posters here find it an unacceptable term?
I'm just trying to figure out where I fall on the watershed thing, being about ten hours out of sync with the UK.

Cross post from Runners thread . . .
Me and Jules ( @Black Orchid ) are running the Bath half marathon on 12th March 2017.
Back in July we raised over £1000 for the Rmh Bristol charity by running the Frome half and 10K which left us wondering which charity to raise money for in the upcoming Bath half marathon.
We had both read Sakura Haraki's story in Sakura Haraki - Haraki's Daughter's Cancer Account and the Cheer for P thread. Jules' mum sadly succumbed to Cancer in 2010 and we are certain that many of you have friends and family that have been touched by this disease.
With this in mind we decided the charity to raise money for in the upcoming Bath half marathon will be Teenage Cancer Trust; https://www.teenagecancertrust.org/
We have just under six months to raise £300 each and we are hoping that you good people of the Iron Heart Forum can help us to achieve our goals. Your donations will be held securely by http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/ until we have completed the Bath half marathon at which time the money will be transferred to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
