How did I not think about this tune before?????
INDIGO BLUE by the great GILBERTO GIL, on his fantastic 1984 "Raca Humana" album (which features Bob Marley's Wailers on the superb "Vamos Fugir" track)

Cant resist
here is Vamos Fugir, by Gilberto Gil and the mighty mighty Wailers
-
I've heard of Taste of fear but haven't actually listened to them… Do they sound like State of fear or is that just my mind linking items for no reason?..
taste of fear was a bit more on the american crust/grind side of the spectrum

Yo
here are two short vids of jazz piano maestro Monty Alexander bigging up the upcoming shows in Tokyo that were put together with the Cotton Club and the Blue Note Club in Japan. It's going to be a Jamaican Jazz jamboree. I'll be there to film, record and enjoy and I'll keep you guys posted.

Saw Fight Amp, Bison B.C., Saviours and Weedeater last night. My ears are stilm recovering even though I wore plugs. I think Weedeater is one of my favorite bands to see live.
-
they always bring something interesting to the table.

Also been jammin to that the last couple of days, big fan here.

Listening to the new Wolves in the throne room… Probably will make me laugh more than watching Cheers - and let it be known that I love watching Cheers…
Apparently Pitchfork described it as a contemporary (Weakling's) Dead as dreams...
Those feckers really don't know their heads from their arses... But hey: let's give it a go...

^could possibly be my favorite Mastodon record since Leviathan.
