RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2024 EDITION
Back on the
(this time with Merz and 634-WT). This jacket certainly gets a lot of love even in the real world - a friend accused me of looking stylish earlier

RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2025 EDITION
So much warmth coming off this thread I’ve had to turn my heating off
Old favourites for the New Year - 269 and 720 - and not a covetable jacket in sight
Best wishes for 2025!

RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2024 EDITION
Not looking as rough as I thought I would today (but I’m bracing myself for the pile-on I’ve set myself up for)

RE: Mizmazzle’s Trip Across the Pond
Mother India is also an option (enjoyed this when my Uncle was still living in Scotland - I think it was the Edinburgh one but can’t quite remember). There’s one in Glasgow too but it looks like it’s had a fire recently.
Also, if you find yourself in Glasgow and want something a bit different, The Palm Tree Kitchen is a cool Yemeni restaurant on Bridge Street (again discovered by my uncle - sadly he’s moved to East Yorkshire, so a return visit looks unlikely).
Obviously lots of options if you find yourself in London at any point (and probably no shortage of forum members who’d be up for meeting you).

RE: Live Concerts
@Bridger the Faroe Islands seem to punch well above their weight in a few genres!

RE: Live Concerts
@endo me neither but I’ve recently booked to see Amyl and the Sniffers there in November.
@Bridger the Iggy Pop gig also popped up on my radar this week - Wednesday’s not a great day for me but I’m giving it some serious thought. Joe and the Shitboys are supporting too – they were a lot of fun when I saw them last year, although I’m not sure how well their act will translate to a bigger venue.

RE: Hair loss --
@Oaktavia I’ve heard that rabbits are a good choice (given their vaguely leporine appearance)

RE: Hair loss --
Similar to Giles, it happens to some of us. You play the cards you’re dealt.
Scalp sunburn is not fun (and may prompt comments about escaping from the Ribena factory).
Hair envy is a real condition, but in most cases the symptoms are intermittent.
