I've been doing Skogg (roots and intervals so far) for three weeks and I'm finally getting it. After years of lifting weights it's hard to get used to hip powered swings. Now that I got it its kicking my ass in a good way. Those high pulls are killer! My advice is to work on the swing until you are sure you have it, I jumped right in without having the foundation down cold.

A great deal with dirtyselvedge, I'm relatively new here and my deal with him was flawless.

RE: Pocketknives/Kitchen Knives/Fixed Blades
This guy makes some nice badassed folders-
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1026300-DALIBOR-KNIVES-SIRIUS!-One-serious-knife!!!-My-story-and-pics!?highlight=daliborI got real obsessive about folders about 6 months ago and placed an order with him, but I pulled it back because it was a bit much for my uses and it would probably scare my wife and kids if I whipped it out in the kitchen.
I ended up with a large sebenza I'm very happy with, now I need a sharpmaker to keep the edge.

RE: In Fitness and in Health
Thanks to all here, you've inspired me to completely change it up. I've been wanting to do something different than the lifting/running I've been doing for 8 years. I'm commiting to Skoggs system alternating with yoga for the next year.

RE: Viberg
Sorry my question was how does one go about working directly with Brett. I'm sure he is a great guy and my post was in no way slamming anybody. The shoes they sent me are next level, just with the wrong sole.

RE: Viberg
Are you guys working directly with Brett? If so how does that work?
My first order with Viberg got a bit messed up (they missed an email I sent changing sole choice) and the solutions given to me by the staff don't make a lot of sense (wear out the incorrect sole and send back for a 1/2 price resole). They were super nice on the phone when I ordered and I'm sure they're good people, but the communication has been tough and has stopped since they emailed me the proposal for the 1/2 price resole.
I'd like to order another pair (and get this pair sorted out) but I'm a little worried now. On the up side, they shoes they sent are absolutely killer (oxfords) and now I want some service boots.

RE: Music
Just found this, chris Thile is the best mando player on the planet but here he is playing James Taylor's Olson guitar. I've loved Thile since I first heard Nickel Creek. This is one of those rare times when a few great musicians get together and it just works.
