Hey – Is there anyone out there who knows what the original purpose was of those two 'pockets' on the crown of the American Caesar Cap ?

I've ended-up deciding to tuck a Spyderco Dog-tag knife into one of them.

As for other contemporary uses, I've previously tried:  spare change (for a coffee, or for the bus); a toothpick; a match (Just because.  I don't smoke); a lighter (Just because.  I don't smoke); a business card; a credit card (Be careful !); and a space-pen.

Any other ideas, good or bad ?

I'm curious, @Giles (or someone else in-the-know):  What is the meaning of this shirt's "T/C" prefix ?  Is T/C important in some way as concerns the style or the fabric of this shirt ?

These are handsome, high-quality, lifetime belts – both the good ol' basic black and the milk-chocolate brown brown, and their solid brass hardware is a big, broad, welcome fit that's nicely spaced between an IH pair of jeans' two front belt loops... 
...  and guess what else ?  Main man @Giles was kind enough to offer to find, and then to bring-in some extra, nickel-plated (garrison) buckles – one of which I've bought and have swapped for the brass hardware of my black Tochigi IHB-06, so as to match the silver of the chain-linkage of the black wallet, and of the black key-fob, that I wear with my jeans.  How's that for attention to detail ?  Thanks again, IH !

As for 'zip-up and button-over' versus 'neo-anorak' styling (and other such details perhaps yet to be finalized), I'm sure that we can trust The Stubborn Crew to update us all about the Mountain Parka, in due course.

Are there any specific measurements that can be shared at present (even if only on a tentative basis) ?  I am specifically interested in the Mountain Parka's length, because any serious challenge to the Canadian winter (anywhere in Canada !) ought to include a coat that at least covers one's back-side !

Here are some other questions, about the parka's fine styling:  What is under the button-down front placket ?  A zipper ?  Is it a zipper in blue that is pictured, in the gap between the bottom of the front placket and the parka's hem ?  If that's not a zipper pictured, is what we have here a modified anorak (i.e. pull-over) styling ?

This shirt exudes quality; more particularly, it looks and feels great (the fabric is perfectly tailored and the fit is spot-on).  I'm very pleased with my IHSH-07; it's a big handsome that will no doubt last a lifetime (or at least for the rest of mine) !
I reckon this to be a three-season shirt.  I'll wear it with a jacket during the Vancouver Winter (+/- 0 – 5C), as well as solo or with a T, during the Autumn and Spring (5 -- 15C).

I got two mugs:  This one, with the motorcycle logo (IHG-055-MC); and its sibling, the one with the bell-and-wings logo (IHG-055-BW).  The first mug is for my tea; the second is for my coffee.  Both are flawlessly made, good-looking, skookum pieces (translation:  'skookum' is west-coast Canadian slang for 'big and strong' !).  These mugs are quick and easy to pre-warm with just a fill of hot tap water, and they then hold the heat of your gyokuros or americanos from start to finish (for as long as your leisurely pace does not turn into a crawl !).  I have not drank from a better mug.
