RE: IHSH-340-OD - Ultra Heavy Flannel Classic Check Western Shirt - Red Overdyed Black
I was on the fence because my UHF collection has gone crazy. I already bought 3 this year and vowed no more until the next go round. I decided to pull the trigger because I didnt want regrets later about missing out on something that might not be available again. Definitely no regrets. I love it!! I am so happy I bought this one. Firstly I love the contrast between the red stitching and dark fabric. I am so happy with the feel of the fabric. It is a bit different to my other UHF`s. it feels a bit more substantial or a little stiffer. I am not sure quite how to explain it. Its different to the others in my collection. I haver worn it every day since I got it. If anyone is on the fence and wants something a little different (not just in color) to add to a UHF collection I highly recommend it!!! Now my main problem is how to smooth it over with my wife

I love this shirt. I had to buy one for my boys. It feels so good. Usually worn untucked!

RE: Random questions to which you seek an answer
@goosehd Thanks a lot for your speedy reply!! It was more a concern of how it might affect the progress (or destruction) of the already evolving patina behind the knee. I am assuming the new amount of break will have an impact on that.

RE: Random questions to which you seek an answer
Hi, apologies if this is in the wrong place.
I have been hemming my jeans to the length where I can cuff them and they dont go much lower than my heels. They are comfortable with bare feet but obviously ride up quite high when sitting (especially on my MC). for the most part I wear engineers so I dont really mind it too much but thinking perhaps I should try them a bit longer so the hem is lower when sitting.
My question is I have a few months of everyday wear (25oz 634) and the creasing and fading is definitely on the way behind the knee. Since I have committed to the length and the evolution of the honeycomb is on the way I was wondering if it would it be a mistake to uncuff them so they will hang a bit lower?
Thanks in advance for any insight -
RE: IHSH-357-IND - 5oz Dobby Cloth Western Shirt - Indigo
Wow, my new favorite IH spring/summer shirt. I love the texture of the fabric and it definitely feels so good on the skin, the color is absolutely beautiful and a shortsleeved version would be amazing!

RE: IH-634-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo
A few days ago I opened up a package containing my first pair of 25 oz denim. It was definitely a little intimidating as I unfolded them, slipped them on and tried to button up. Now a few days in they feel so good. I look forward to putting them on everyday and am really enjoying the beginning of this journey.
I enjoyed seeing all the pictures of fades on here and looking forward to these starting to show a patina. -

RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2023 EDITION
I didn’t realize what an addiction IH would be when I started walking down this road. It feels so good revisiting old friends that have been out of the rotation for a bit. I am so happy with the patina that is starting to develop on my jacket.

RE: Decisions
@Oaktavia I like that. I wore one pair every day for about 18 months. I am so attached to them and now have the three new ones. It’s trippy putting the older pair aside as I am so attached to them bit

RE: Decisions
Thanks very much guys!! All those strategies make perfect sense. @Oaktavia I like your rationale. I will look at that other link now

Decisions
Hi, what to do. I have three pair of new 634’s in different weights. I also have a few pair that are beautifully broken and with awesome fades. It is so hard to decide what to put on in the morning. On one hand, I want to wear what I spent so much time working on and on the other hand I feel like I should break in the new denim. Perhaps I am working on too many at the same time? What do y’all do?
